Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2004
4.5 Star Review  GameZone - Oct 2, 2003

Don’t you just love it when your favorite sports game just keeps improving every year and adding new features that make a fun game just so much more enjoyable? The Tiger Woods PGA Tour games are just one of those games that manage to keep gamers interested enough to keep coming back for more. With Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004, EA Sports once again delivers the type of golf game we expect from them--only this time the extras are just too juicy to ignore. Grab your favorite putter, sports fans, the green in this game is just too fun to pass up. Last year’s game brought a new breath of fresh air in terms of the controls, its silky smooth analog stick swing made for an agreeable style that gave the game an arcade-like feel without surrendering the sense of realism found in most EA Sports titles.

5 Star Review  GameSpy - Sep 24, 2003

NOT MANY GAMES can successfully pack all of this into one box, but Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 does it all ... and more. It's a game friendly enough for non-gamers to pick up, and yet it has enough depth, replayability, and new features to satisfy even the most rabid fans and keep them hooked for weeks on end. Only the Xbox's lack of online play mars what I consider a near-perfect game, but there's just so much goodness jammed in here that you may likely never notice.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004
4.5 Star Review  IGN.com - Sep 22, 2003

The Tiger Woods PGA franchise has been growing slowly, but surely over the last several years. It began ambitiously with true 3D courses and it soon added the analog swing method, which revolutionized it and breathed life into it. With each year's new iteration since, we've seen new courses and new players but the advances have always been small steps forward -- not leaps. This is the same with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 for the most part. It has the additional courses, the new PGA pros, and even some new modes.

Strengths: Game Face, Analog Swing Control

Weakness: No Online Play

Once again, Tiger Woods PGA Tour does not disappoint. Not only have the built on what was already a great game, but added tons of new features. Game Face is incredible. I was able to customize my golfer to actually look like me. TW 2004 has added new course and new players. There is a ton of mini games to complete and metals/accomplishments to achieve. This is a great game!

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004
4 Star Review   By member shipwreck1 - Oct 29, 2005

Strengths: Great gameplay, good controls, nice graphics, lots of customization

Weakness: Later courses get extremely unrealistic and difficult, no online play

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 is another excellent golf game in the series. Like the previous year's game, the swing is controlled by moving the analog stick. This provides for very fluid control over your swing. This version adds a very in depth customized golfer option where you can tweak your golfer to your heart's content. There are a ton of game modes including World Tour and Career modes and there are a ton of unlockables. There are 20 courses in this game and they all look very nice. My only issue is that some of the later courses have such extreme fluctuations in altitude that they are very difficult to play. If you are looking for a golf game though and don't care about online play, this is a perfectly good golf game.

4 Star Review   By member iconoclasm - Jul 7, 2005

Strengths: A good golf game, the xbox version probably has the best graphics of this multisystem game. Multiplayer is a blast

Weakness: It might not provide much challenge; it isnt xbox live enabled(so you cant play against your friends on xbox live)

tiger woods 2k4 for xbox is a lot of fun. The learning curve is such that anyone who has never played a golf game can easily pick it up and play it and enjoy it. I would recommend this to someone who wants to try out a golf game, but does not want to pay the higher prices for tiger woods 2005

Strengths: Create a player

Weakness: Average game for non-golf fans

Tiger Woods 2004 is a great golf game and brings a lot of realistic elements into the game. The create-a-player is really well done and allows you to enjoy playing as yourself. The amount of courses and tournaments are also good to offer variety.
