Bioshock 2 | Xbox 360 - standard edition
4 Star Review  productwiki.com - Feb 18, 2010

BioShock 2 is a first-person horror game released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Microsoft Windows in February 2010. It is the second installment in the BioShock series and picks up 10 years after the original story. Players control a Big Daddy named Subject Delta and are responsible for eventually overthrowing Lamb and her army of Big Sisters. The action from the original series remains, but a whole slew of new features have been incorporated: dual-wielding weapons, new powers/ammo, a hacking mechanic, and a separate multiplayer mode in which players assume the role of a Plasmid in a sort of prequel based on Rapture’s origins. Additional features include the ability to perform a melee attack with every weapon; the ability to step into the ocean; and regeneration via Vita-Chambers. Features First-Person Horror Xbox 360 Playstation 3 (PS3) Microsoft Windows (PC) Dual-Wielding Weapons New Powers/Ammo Hacking Mechanic Singleplayer (Big Daddy) Multiplayer (Plasmid) ... PROS: (1) complex morality system - no evil or good harvest / release system as found in the first game (2) interesting characters (3) good variety of weapons and plasmids, with a variety of upgrades as well as ammo types - allows for multiple play-throughs and strategies without getting monotonous (4) new hacking method keeps you in the game, is based on your response rather than simple puzzle solving skills (5) option to turn Vita-Chambers off ... CONS: (1) weapons and plasmids remain pretty similar to the previous game (2) PC version lacks gamepad support (3) game mechanics remain mostly unchanged
