Halo: Reach | Standard
3.5 Star Review  productwiki.com - Apr 1, 2011

Released on September 14th 2010, Halo: Reach is the 4th and final Halo game from Bungie, the original creators of the popular series. Taking place before the events of the Halo trilogy, Halo: Reach puts you in the boots of a new protagonist - the rookie Noble 6 - as part of an elite team, outing the iconic Master Chief. The popular online multiplayer of past Halos has also been improved. Retrofitted with all of the improvements of the single player campaign - including the game changing class-like armor abilities such as the jet pack - the online experience has been expanded with weekly challenges for credit, new and improved modes, an expanded Forge for custom level design, and the ability to tweak the very finest rules of the game - for customization never before seen in the Halo franchise. Features 7-12 hour campaign mode split screen co-op online co-op "score ... PROS: (1) able to stand on its own for those who havent played the other Halo games (2) great soundtrack (3) stunning graphics (4) straightforward and easy to enjoy plotline (5) still Halo - expands the universe, makes references to and integrates successful elements from past games ... CONS: (1) shallow characters - Noble 6 has zero personality, other members of the Noble team are cliche (2) people that dont install the game to the hard drive slow down the loading in multiplayer for everyone (3) credits earned arent very useful - for aesthetic bling and braging rights only (4) people cant join multiplayer games that are in progress - meaning when people leave your game the teams become very unbalanced (5) Playing co-op requires an official Xbox 360 Hard drive

Great game
5 Star Review   By member Speardane - Sep 26, 2010

Strengths: Many more and better features

Weakness: none yet

They have improved on Halo 3, in my opinion. The jetpack, sprint, armor lockup are nice additions. Sprint is my favorite. I like the new single shot rifle better than the old 3 round burst. The handgun can zoom in, making it a shortrange sniper option. Also the variety of vehicles and weapons make it more interesting taking down enemy wraiths and such, there's more ways to go about it. No dual-wielding weapons though. Awesome game.
