Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga
5 Star Review   By member shrike424242 - Sep 7, 2008

Strengths: Co-op multiplayer, two previous games in one package, fun for all ages, added content, online multiplayer

Weakness: A little repetitive

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is the first two Lego Star Wars games, updated for the Xbox 360, which covers the saga from all six movies. The first LSW game wasn't available for the 360, though this package has that, as well as the prior game that was available for the 360. There's new content as well, with the ability to move in-game content between all six episodes. It's the same gameplay, with working through parts of the six Star Wars movies as Lego version of different characters, collecting items and Lego bits to acquire and purchase new items. It's fun gameplay for all ages, even if it can get slightly repetitive at times. Newly added to the co-op multiplayer is online co-op, which adds in the ability to play two-player co-op over XBL. This is a must-buy for any Star Wars fan and worth a rebuy for anyone that bought the prior LSW2 game.

One of Few Great Star Wars Games
5 Star Review   By member OpTiMaLhUnTeR - Aug 30, 2008

Strengths: Fun for all ages. Online cooperative play. Two games in one. Extra levels.

Two games for the price of one, this includes the levels from both Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars 2 plus new levels. In addition to local cooperative play it also features online cooperative play. I really enjoyed the way scenes from the six movies are humorously redone. Originally when I heard about the first Lego Star Wars game I wasn't very interested. After playing the first one I was pleasantly surprised. This is a game that anyone of any age can enjoy. Recommended.

fun but more kid oriendted
3 Star Review   By member SpARtan611 - Aug 10, 2008

Strengths: graphics better then the other ones interesting

Weakness: lousy control dumb charecter models non intersting story.

its good good for ids as well as teenagers and adults if ur in to that sort of thing. its got lousy charecter models but its legos so give them some credit. its very kid oriendted with jokes that are ment for kids to laugh at not older ppl. but i bought it and im 14. and i was pretty impressed with it. but way dumb jokes and non funny humor that wouldnt happen in the real star wars. but like i said its a kid friendly lego version of star wars. i think you would get way more value out of renting it instead of buying it because this game can get very boring once you beat it.

*Great* game!
5 Star Review   By member caffeineworks - Apr 8, 2008

Strengths: Playability, 'drop out/drop in' feature, kid-safe action

The only weakness that I can see in this game is that some of the puzzles can be difficult for younger players to solve by themselves. But that doesn't keep them from playing other parts of the game! The 'violence' is all "Lego-ized", so I believe it is a kid-safe, family fun game that dads (and moms!) can play with their children. The re-enacted scenes from the movies will make any Star Wars fan smile. Lots of fun. Highly recommended.

Lego Pricegrabber: The Complete Review.
4 Star Review   By member Admiral_Ackbar - Apr 7, 2008

Strengths: Two good games for the price of one.

Weakness: Episodes 1-3 sucked as movies.

Lego Star Wars is a fun litle romp through teh star wars universe as lego creations. I really liked both games. They have a sense of humor and joy. I would recommend waiting to fidn this game on sale or used for $30. You can get both of the other games for about that price used. But the port of the first one to the 360 works well and the second one is a classic.

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
5 Star Review   By member silentassassin47 - Feb 27, 2008

Strengths: contains both LEGO Star Wars Games, excellent gameplay,

Weakness: if you already own one of the previous titles, no reason to get this compilation

If you are one of a few who have not experience LEGO Star Wars and a huge Star Wars fan, then this is a game for you. This is a game for all ages, especially the youngsters. The gameplay consist of you picking a Star Wars character made of course out of LEGO and fighting through the Star Wars storyline. The gameplay is classic beat-em up but a few puzzles here and there to mix it up a bit. Since it's a beat-up affair, you must play it multiplayer to truly have fun. In addition to the gameplay, you can customize your own LEGO characters from the LEGO pieces. Overall, an excellent game for all ages and especially young Star Wars fans.

Great fun for the whole family
4 Star Review   By member mkernan - Jan 14, 2008

Strengths: very nostalgic, cute, fun, easy for kids to play

Weakness: none to speak of

The Lego Star Wars series is the perfect blend of fun and nostalgia for gamers of all ages. The Complete Saga combines all the content of the two previous Lego Star Wars titles, updates the mechanics and graphics of the original to match the second, and adds in a handful of new content - most notably the addition of online co-op play. If you liked the originals, like Star Wars or Lego, or just are looking for a title that the entire family can enjoy, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a winner. The basic gameplay is a simple hack and slash/shoot with real simple puzzle elements thrown in. The hardcore gamer may be put off by the easy and simple nature of the game, but the elements of nostalgia and silly fun more than make of for it. I've had a blast playing with my 6-year-old daughter who has never even seen a Star Wars movie yet and has had some exposure to Lego by way of an old bin full of my old pieces. If you have Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, it is a little difficult to recommend another $50 purchase for the added content. However, if you've never played either of the first two or are just looking for more of the same fun you've enjoyed in either of them, this is a perfect package bringing together all six episodes and adding in online co-op. Overall, I've been more than happy with my purchase and I traded in my copy of LSW II to put toward buying another game.
