4 Star Review  productwiki.com - Jul 19, 2011

NCAA Football 12 is the twelfth installment in the fifteenth installment in the NCAA Football series. It was released in summer 2011 for the Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, iDevice, and Microsoft Windows gaming consoles and operating systems. It improves from its predecessor, NCAA Football 11 (2011) with noticeable visual upgrades to nearly every element of the game. The first upgrade was to the lighting system, which was pumped up to High Dynamic Rendering (HDR), which allows the game to maintain a stark contrast without sacrificing the intricate details that add to realism. This especially makes a difference while playing in exceedingly large stadiums that are covered in shadows, in that the game doesn’t have to raise brightness anymore to alleviate these shadows. Also added are realistic-looking dreadlocks on the places, a much more detailed crown, and fully three-dimensional (3D) particles such as grass and rain. Overall, the game looks ... PROS: (1) better ESPN presentation integration - makes it like youre watching the game unfold live on TV (2) energetic, well implemented commentary (3) team entrances are customized - include traditions to enhance the realism and spirit of the game (4) new collision system for more realistic tackles (5) Dynasty mode now includes new tweaks, Coaching Carousel, realistically only coaching offense or defense, contracts with goals ... CONS: (1) nothing as impressive as NCAA Football 11 - not essential for non-diehards (2) gameplay is largely unchanged from 11
