Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller | Blue
4 Star Review  productwiki.com - Oct 16, 2009

The official wireless controller for the Microsoft Xbox 360. Up to 4 wireless controllers can be connected to the system at the same time. The controller takes 2 AA batteries and lasts for over 24 hours of continuous use. The controller is based off of its predecessor S-Type controller for the original Microsoft Xbox. One wireless controller is included with the Xbox 360 Premium Edition and above. There is also a Xbox 360 Wired controller that plugs into one of the two available USB slots. The wireless controller can be coupled with a Play and Charge Kit so that you can recharge your batteries as you play. The wireless controller retails for around $50. ... PROS: (1) Very nice ergonomics - fits well in hand (2) Many buttons, triggers, and thumbstick controls (3) wireless (4) buttons are"bette" than playstation buttons as they are easier to press and rounded (5) you know when buttons are presssed even if you didnt press it very hard. ... CONS: (1) Rechargeable battery costs extra. (2) D-pad feels mushy and you can accidentally get diagonal directions you didnt want. (3) Battery indicator on controller is distracting and only shows if the battery is below 50% or so. (4) No motion/orientation sensors like the Wiimote or Sixxaxis controllers

Love the Freedom!
4 Star Review   By member martintomsal - Aug 20, 2008

Strengths: Wireless. Works great - no connection issues.

Weakness: None so far

We have been using this wireless remote for 3 months now. It has had zero connection issues with our Xbox Elite which is about 12 feet away and housed behind a closed panel in a entertainment console. The batteries gave lasted so far (we do not have many games which have a lot of rumble. It is great not having to worry about wires. I have no complaints with this controller

I'm a little blue...
4 Star Review   By member Karyyk - Jul 16, 2008

Strengths: Controls games flawlessly (if you're good)!

Weakness: It's not the best shade of blue I've ever seen.

It's the same XBOX 360 wireless controller you know and love, NOW IN BLUE!!! Seriously though, the 360 controller design is near perfect. Button input is responsive and the battery life is impressive. You could do much, much worse.

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller - Blue
4 Star Review   By member cindy0586 - Jul 10, 2008

Strengths: User friendly

Weakness: Too expensive!!

Great controllers, best controller system on any Nexy gen system, but they break a little to easy. When I opened the packing of my first one, it fell on the floor falling probally 2 feet and the trigger button wouldn't work, plus they are as any controller on any next-gen system way to expencive.

Great color for a great controller
5 Star Review   By member SpazX - Jun 30, 2008

Strengths: Nice blue color, great overall controller

Weakness: D-pad

This is just a blue version of the standard Xbox 360 controller, so everything is pretty much the same for this one as for the white, black, and pink ones. So this one has the same fault as all the others - the D-pad. The D-pad on Xbox 360 controllers is awful - it does not register movement well and sometimes registers the wrong movements. It was just a bad design choice by Microsoft. The bad D-pad is unfortunate because other than that the Xbox 360 controller is the best console controller out there. It's very ergonomic and the button and joystick placement is fantastic. I wouldn't play with any other controller.

Color does not matter
5 Star Review   By member gidge1019 - Jun 12, 2008

Strengths: The wireless feature is as good on this controller as it is on all other.

Weakness: None so far

This controller is exactly like the white one. The blue color pictured is a lot more harsh then the real thing. My husband loves the blue controller. So far it has held up better then the controller that came with the system.

True Blue Gaming Control!
5 Star Review   By member mugenmidget - May 6, 2008

Strengths: -Great color -Same fantastic 360 controller you know and love -Wireless!

Weakness: -360 does not handle controller disconnects properly in some cases -Weak d-pad

This is a fantastic product, Microsoft really knows what they're doing as far as controllers are concerned. It's a shame the d-pad is so weak, but that seems to be the case with many controllers on the market nowadays. This is still a wonderful product, and the blue color looks snazzy!

For Those Feeling Blue
5 Star Review   By member Bullettime - Apr 30, 2008

Strengths: One of the best game controllers around

Weakness: Not the most visually appealing shade of blue; lousy digital pad

The Xbox 360 wireless controller is widely regarded as one of the best controllers in gaming. It's hard to argue with that. The controller is expertly designed, looks slick, responds well (save for the miserable D-pad), and feels great in the hands. The blue version is the same great controller as the original Xbox 360 pack-in controller...except it's blue. So, if you're looking for a change of color, this might just do the trick.

Nice Blue Controller
5 Star Review   By member jdmrknight - Apr 26, 2008

Strengths: Optional blue color

We purchased this so we would have an extra wireless controller to go with our new Xbox 360 Elite. My son chose the blue so he could have his own controller and not get it mixed up with his brothers. We also thought it would not get as dirty as the white one would. So far, we are happy with our choice and he really likes the color. It is a rather bright and different blue but not quite as bright as shown here on the website. We would purchase this again.

Colors for the whole family
4 Star Review   By member GASTURBO1 - Feb 10, 2008

Strengths: Different colors

Weakness: Just a plain ole controller

Microsoft has released several new colorful XBOX controllers including an all black one and a camouflage one to compliment the existing original white one. Other than color choices these controllers do not bring anything new to the table. Real gamers still have to purchase the matching rechargeable battery separately. But if you want to bring a bit of color to your XBOX gaming experience then this new bread of controllers are for you.
