Rocky Legends
4 Star Review  GameZone - Oct 11, 2004

Step into the shoes of Rocky Balboa, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang or Ivan Drago. Attempt to rewrite history, improving the status of your prized fighter, or screw up the whole thing by turning him into a giant loser. Rocky Legends is half-arcade, half-simulation; 70% boxing, 30% training. The music, movie clips and in-game scenarios will make you want to watch the movies again. The gameplay appears to be shallow at first, but don't give up until you've fully explored the depths of this game. There's a lot more to it than meets the eye. The best part of a great fighting game is its fighting system.

Rocky Legends
3.5 Star Review  IGN.com - Sep 29, 2004

When Ubisoft's surprising movie-inspired boxing videogame Rocky first hit consoles in the autumn of 2002, I was surprised at how well it captured the theatrical experience. Though it was no secret around the office that quite a few of us were Rocky fans already, the Rage-developed fighter drew us in with more than just the power of its license -- it also nabbed us with its easy to understand boxing mechanics and satisfying fast-paced gameplay. Not to mention the fact that its two-player head-to-head modes were amazing fun, with only a few technical glitches and AI issues holding it back.

ROCKY!!
2 Star Review   By member mirado182 - Jul 26, 2007

Strengths: Good presentation

Weakness: Just not that great of a game overall

I'll say this now, I'd only recommend this game for serious Rocky fans. While this game isn't terrible, it's not great either. Once you unlock everything, there's really nothing to do. The boxing mechanics are so-so, and the CPU isn't noteworthy.
