Don King Boxing is a sports game developed for both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS gaming systems. On the Wii, gameplay uses both hands to throw jabs, hooks, uppercuts and KO punches. If a Wii Balance Board is used, ducking and dodging is controlled through there. On the Nintendo DS, punching is controlled through the touchpad with the stylus. Real life venues like Madison Square Garden, Boardwalk Hall, and Trump Taj Mahal are featured in the game, and many real licensed boxers are represented as opponents for players to fight. Mini-games encourage the player to exercise to gain points for use in gameplay, and progress is tracked and charted in-game. A career mode lets players work their way through the ranks, starting in the local gym and working up to an international star. Two player modes are also supported. Features Wii Wii Balance Board compatible Throw punches with both hands Duck and ... PROS: (1) gives you a good workout, easy to break a sweat (2) lots of cool special abilities to take advantage of (3) the way you punch is almost like a real fight (4) Wii balance board is optional, can use it or not as preferred ... CONS: (1) have to hold the buttons on the remote when boxing, a little awkward for small hands (2) Wii balance board doesnt add much to the game (3) not as intuitive as Wii Sports Boxing, a bit awkward at first (4) not too many recognizable name boxers in the game
