Decent, clunky fighter.

Strengths: Lots of Godzilla loving.

Weakness: Controls are clunky and slow.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee is a fighter featuring many of the famous monsters from the Godzilla universe duking it out across the world in a sort of world tour of destruction. The game itself is fun at times, but the clunky, slow controls do hurt the game. Only serious Godzilla fans should apply, all other challengers can find better games to spend their money on.

It's Godzilla!!

Strengths: - Good controls - Good multi-player fun

Weakness: - Fairly small environments

Godzilla - Destroy all Monsters Melee (G-DAMM) is a fighter genre video game using the characters from the old Godzilla movies. The arenas in the game are various cities. The elements of the city (buildings, water tanks, etc.) can be used as weapons. Each character has special powers (eg Godzilla's breath). Parity among the monsters was well developed by the programmers. (I thought that Godzilla...

Pass on this one.

Strengths: Multiplayer, characters faithfully represented, destructable environments.

Weakness: Slow / non-responsive controls, dated graphics, no tutorial, cheap AI.

I bought this game because I've heard people say that it's a great party game for the Cube. Boy was I disappointed. The game's characters move very much like the goliaths they are....meaning they lumber forward at an awkward pace. Unless you're a fan of the characters, chances are you're not going to want to play long enough to unlock anyone beyond the stock characters. May have been a good party...

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee

Strengths: Fun classic monster fighting goodness

Weakness: Graphics a bit dated

I picked this up as a budget title to let the kids experience some classic monster-movie monster fighting. While this game is a bit old and the graphics are not up to par with most current GameCube titles, it is a fun diversion best undertaken in small doses. There are several modes. In "Versus Mode" you can fight a computer controlled monster or against a friend. In the single-player "Adventure...

Destruction should always be this fun

Strengths: Good use of Godzilla license. Good monster beat-em-up. Best with friends.

Weakness: Hard to unlock stuff. Button mashing works as well as strategy. Limited set of characters.

Be Godzilla or one of his monster pals, as you tear up each other and the city! In this game, you can slug it out with Godzilla and his friends (or your friends!) as you fight monsters or destroy cities, or do both at once. The monsters look and sound great, and the environments are terrific too. The feel of this game is excellent It is immensely fun to pick up buildings and throw them at your...
