Description
Kids can play on all sides of this construction site! And with the remote control dump truck it's easy and fun to get around – works on carpet too! The easy-to-use RC controller steers the truck in 4 directions or 360 degree spins - with 4 color coded buttons. Kids just match the colors on the truck to the colors on the remote. It also has tank steering so the vehicle slows down as it turns, making it easier for kids to maneuver & control. Bring the RC Vehicle to the playset where EZ Guide Ramps automatically aligns the vehicle so even the youngest kids find success driving it to the play areas. There's a cool elevator, a crane to load and unload boulders into the hopper, plus a parking area great for storage.

Disappointed
3 Star Review   By Daved on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Mar 21, 2013

I purchased this toy for my 3 & 4 year old boys. They couldn't wait for me to assemble it, which was fairly easy. Just like others on here, I had trouble getting the ramp to go up all the way, but after a little adjustment it worked fine. My boys enjoyed it for a couple of days until the remote would not work. The remote controlled vehicle will start and go forward but won't stop or turn. To make it stop I have to press the red light on top of the remote controlled truck, or it will just keep on going. I changed batteries on both the truck and the remote but that didn't fix anything. It's a good idea for a toddler toy but unfortunately it is not good quality as far as the vehicle and remote go.

Fun but didn't last
4 Star Review   By JJames on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Jan 11, 2013

My 3 year old son got this toy for christmas and loved it. We had to wait to set it up because we didn't have any AAAs, but when we did he loved playing with it. After 1 dau of play the remote stopped working. When I took it to try and see what was wrong the remote was hot so I removed the Battery cover to take out the batteries and the were very hot. I let the remote sit for a few hours and tried a different brand of batteries and right away the batteries started getting hot. My son was very upset that his new toy didn't work and would love to play with it. If the remote were fixed this would be an amazing toy.

fun toy but doesn't hold up
3 Star Review   By boley09 on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Jan 5, 2013

my 4, 6, and 7 year olds loved this toy, couldn't put it down for the first few days, then within a week the remote stopped working. After 3 new packs of batteries we still can't get the remote to work. We think the dumptruck is fine since the light comes on, but can't be sure of that since the remote is faulty. It's a great toy and held their attention and is one of those toys they kept coming back to, but it's no fun without a working remote control.

Loads of fun
5 Star Review   By suz1956 on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 29, 2012

I bought this for my nephew. Once we got it built the fun was endless. We had no problem with the elevator lift. It worked perfectly. The kids were lined up to get their turn to run through the construction site. My nephew(age 4) gave me the biggest hug and said he loved it. I highly recommend this. I think the only down side is that it doesn't come apart easily for storage and it does take up a lot of space.

Great, with one flaw
4 Star Review   By JTMD on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 27, 2012

Very easy assembly and the construction site keeps our 3 year old busy. The only issue is that the elevator/crane does not go up. The elevator will rise about 2 inches and then stop. Our son can very easily lift it with his hand, but I would like it to work as advertised. Overall, very pleased.

Great for toddlers
4 Star Review   By linecorevixen on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 27, 2012

i agree with other comments. THE LIFT!!!!!! Ours barely lifts the truck too, have to manually push it off the lift, but then, the lift falls off it's post once the truck is on, so we have to hold it in place while lifting or lowering the vehicle. Our son plays with it and brings us the lift to place back on every 5 minutes or so!!!! However, he plays with it almost all day, driving the truck around the house and off loading the boulders right under my feet!!! He is almost 2 and there hasn't been any other toy he's had (except his tonka truck) that has captured his attention for this long, so I'm happy that I found something he enjoys, just wish the lift held up a bit better. (my husband is very annoyed)

Poor design
1 Star Review   By livefree75 on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 25, 2012

Two complaints: 1. The remote control - pressing a button only starts the truck moving. In order to stop it, you must press the red button on the truck, which completely defeats the purpose of the remote. 2. The lift does not lift the truck enough to get to the ramp. When you lift it, the truck is not powerful enough to drive around the ramp. When the truck does reach the second elevator, and its weight lowers it as designed, the truck then flips over while exiting from the lift.

Didn't work from first time
3 Star Review   By CMDB on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 25, 2012

This seemed like something my son would love and we bought it for Christmas. It would be great but the elevator doesn't go up and down on it's own. You have to drive the car on to it and hold the buttons and it will finally real ease but then you have to push it up sometimes. It works about 40% of the time. The elevator down NEVER works because when the truck drives on it the other side of the elevator swings and gets caught so the elevator won't go down unless you move the other side. Kind of defeats the purpose of a remote control truck if you have to keep touching it for it just to work. If it worked the way it should it would have been a 5 star toy all around.

Worked for 2 weeks
2 Star Review   By frails on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 17, 2012

We got this for our son 2 weeks ago. It worked great for 2 weeks and he LOVED IT!!! however, now when you press any button on the remote the car will only go in the certain direction of the button you pressed. You have to walk over and stop the car to be able to press another button on the remote. I don't know what the issue could be. I can't return it because we don't have the box and lost one ball. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Not 100% functional
4 Star Review   By MightyMom on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 11, 2012

I bought this for my sons 3rd birthday. He loves construction trucks so I thought he would love the construction site, and he does. However, one complaint I have is that the truck is too heavy for the lift. The lift will go up if you press the release without the truck on it, but when the truck is on it it raises about a half inch and stops. We have to manually lift up the lift. My son doesn't seem to care too much, but I was disapointed. The lift comes down okay with the truck on it, but it is difficult to get the truck on the lift properly. My second complaint is that there is a place on the side of the site for the truck to back up and dump the boulder into a bucket, but when the truck backs up and hits the part of the bucket that is supposed to raise the bed of the truck the bed only lifts a little bit - not enough for the boulder to roll out. Overall this is a pretty decent product. In fact I am going to get the other remote control dump truck so I can drive it and play with my son.

Great toy
5 Star Review   By my3boys on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Jan 19, 2012

This is the first review I have ever written. I was suprised when I read the other reviews. We have had no problems with this toy. We have joked that the youngest should be a toy tester, because if it survives him, it's a good toy. This is the best toy I have purchased in a long time, the other was Geo-trax, that we started collecting over 8 years ago. I have quit buying other name brands that I have always been loyal to.

Meh.
3 Star Review   By yayvee on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Jan 12, 2012

I was looking forward to my son's reaction to this playset, but he's not very interested in it. The elevator doesnt work very well, and the truck is difficult to navigate around the curve on the ramp. He does enjoy the remote control truck, but usually plays with it seperately. We would have been better off to just buy him a larger remote control dump truck and skipped the construction site. On the other hand, my 23 year old brother plays with this toy every time he comes over!!!

Loved it but alittle disappointed
3 Star Review   By baymom on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Jan 6, 2012

I purchased this for my 4 yr old son for Xmas. He loved it and was so excited. But the elevator doesn't work very well and we're having a problem with the remote controlled truck. I have emailed customer service so I'm sure they'll give me a solution. We also purchased the boulder blaster set that accompanies the construction site and my son loves that too!

Almost Awesome
2 Star Review   Fisher-Price_Reviews

It is a fantastic toy with a great concept which is why we bought it for my 4 year old for Christmas. He loves his "worker" trucks and thought this was awesome. The only reason I'm disappointed in this toys is because it doesn't work correctly. You are suppose to be able to drive the truck onto the elevator and hit the stop sign so it takes you up, but it only goes up by maybe 2 inches then stops. Then when you come back down it doesn't snap into place so you spend a lot of time fiddling with the thing to keep it in place so they can go back and do it again. If not for that, I would be thrilled over the toy

Broken Remotes
2 Star Review   By BoyMom on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Dec 9, 2011

My 3-year-old received this as a birthday gift. After placing new batteries in both the truck and remote, the remote would not work (or even light up). We contacted Fisher Price and they sent us a replacement truck and remote within 4 days. Great service, except the new remote doesn't work either. We've tried numerous batteries, and the remote will not turn on. Fisher Price has always been a trusted brand in our house, but I'm extremely disappointed in this product.

What Fun!
5 Star Review   By dukes1 on Fisher-Price_Reviews - Oct 26, 2011

We bought this for our son's 3rd birthday. It was a hit among all the boys, including the dad's! Our little guy really likes playing with it and quickly got a handle on the remote. I only wish/hope they come out with more remote control vehicles to go with it. There are some other trucks, but they don't have the remote control feature. I see this as one of those toys that gets better with age.
