GREAT SWING SET!!
This is a GREAT swing set! We bought it for our grandson to enjoy at our house, but we enjoy it as much as he does! The two of us put it together in about 3 hours, with a little bit of alignment difficulty in the final assembly, but otherwise it was pretty straightforward. The quality is really impressive; we are very pleased with this purchase!

Very durable and sturdy. Great for both kids and adults.
I bought this for my sister after her old swing set was destroyed during superstorm Sandy. She loves it, and I enjoy using it as well. It is very strong and easy to assemble. Just be sure to follow the directions exactly and read them twice before proceeding, or else you may have to make a few time consuming modifications like I had to.

We all love it
This swing set is very sturdy! I love that it is so tall and we can all swing on it (even the parents). My husband assembled with help from his dad in less than 4 hours including beer breaks. Love it!

This swing set is extremely sturdy and good value for the money.
This swing set takes two strong people to set up, but it seems to be very sturdy and overall very high quality. In fact it looks very much like the swings one sees in public playgrounds. Our only semi-complaint is that the deep U-shape of the swing seats (dense plastic/rubbery material) makes them uncomfortable for a large kid or adult. That said, we expect this set to be enjoyed by our grandchildren for a long time.

Excellent heavy-duty swing set
Easy to assemble. Does not require anchors. Only negative comment concerns the rubberized hand grips on the chains. The surface has become very tacky after only two months of use.

This swing was better than we expected.
This swing was better than we expected. It is rugged, well designed, and easy to assemble. If you read the directions thoroughly, follow the directions closely, and don't skip ahead, it goes together easily. You do need two adults for assembly.

Worried about durability
Unfortunately, this product is not all I thought it would be. It seams sturdy and my kids love it, however, after being assembled for just a week, I noticed that all of the screws have rusted. I contacted Lifetime about this and they told me that this is surface rust and this will happen. I was told that another associate has this product and this has happened as well, however it is still holding up after two years of use for them. Well, for a swing set this expensive, I am expecting for more than two years of use and I was also expecting it to hold its appearance for longer than a week. They did offer to send new screws, but mentioned that they are the exact same ones we already have, so the results probably won't be different. Had I known this would happen on such a pricy set, I would have kept looking.

Sturdy Swing Set
It certainly seemed sturdy enough without digging holes to cement the poles in the ground. It is intended to sit above ground. We dug three holes to level it out since we placed it on a hill. Our three girls love it and will be able to for a long time because it will be a while before the three of them add up to more than 405 lbs (I think they weigh 110 total right now).

Easy assembly, rugged construction
It is a very nice swing set. It came with good instructions for easy assembly and my wife and I had fun putting it together together.

Great swing set. Love it!
After reading tons of reviews, we decided to buy this set. So glad we did. Easy to set up - took about 2 hours for my husband and dad to assemble. It was also delivered so fast! I placed the order on a Thursday morning and it arrived on that Monday. Our kids ages 3 and 5 are constantly swinging.Super strong and sturdy. I'm sure we will be able to use it with our grandkids!

5 stars - Outstanding!
It came in 2 boxes. Before starting assembly I read all the instructions and inventoried all parts. My help forget to show up so it was just my wife and I and she is 66 years old and doesn't have a lot of upper body strength. She did help with some lifting of the ends and was there for moral support. The most difficult part of the assembly for me was the top green support brackets on each end. It took some wrangling to align the bolts in the holes, but I got er done. It took somewhere between 4 to 5 hours. I weigh 250 pounds and can swing on this set. My grandkids think it's awesome.

It seems very sturdy!
My husband weighs over 300lbs. and he has gently swung with no problems. Seems like a great swingset.

Tall, sturdy, good swinging
This tall, sturdy swingset lets kids swing really high. It's a good value in terms of price--much less than shorter wooden play sets, with swings that go higher. I'm 63 and not skilled at building things, but I did the entire assembly alone except for the last 4 minutes of lifting the completed set. The assembly is tricky; the directions need to be followed very, very carefully, with attention to making sure you haven't reversed parts. A winner of a product, and with normal use it doesn't need anchoring.

hours of family fun
We bought this swing set for our little girl thinking she would hsve fun. But we never thought how much fun this swing set has brought us. We have all the neighborhood kids at our house playing for hours and hours of fun. Love this swing set.

Didn't rate it 5 stars only because of the difficulty of assembly. Definitely 3-4 big strong adults is best to raise it up.
This is a big, strong, heavy swing set for use by the entire family. This is not just a "kiddy" swing. It's worth the money and effort to construct. We put a couple of the top "A" frame brace plates on incorrectly (notched vs "unnotched") and bent them when we tryed to raise the swing with just two of us guys and lost control of the swing etc. We called the company " Lifetime " help line and they explained what we'd done wrong and immediately shipped us replacement parts at no cost, even though we'd created the problem by not following the directions. I am very impressed with this Utah based company and will buy more of their products in the future.

Good buy
I got this because it is a very strong swing set. It's worth the cost. Only downside is, it does not come with anchors. When you assemble, follow the directions closely.

I love how its so tall
I love my new swing set!! Even my parents can swing. Its great for birthday parties and special occasions because the kids can have a good time on the swings!!

Great swingset!
We've had the swing about 2 weeks and it is holding true to its claim. Sturdy, quality construction and not unbearable to assemble. We chose this swing because we have very little level ground on our hillside backyard, and it has worked well with our obstacles. My only concern at this point is that the assembly screws already show signs of rust. Maybe they are supposed to wear this way, but I don't think so. Overall very happy with purchase. My boys are 4 and 6 and very large and rough for their ages and product seems to be extremely durable.

LOVE IT!!!
This swing set is amazing!! The kids and I love it. It really wasn't to hard to put together with two people. It took us about 4 hrs with kids running around us :) It is a awesome swing set. I would highly recommend this for any age cause I have found myself swinging on it.

Awesome Swingset, Pricey, but Worth It
This product is awesome. Granted I haven't had it long enought to tell if it will rust (other reviews say it won't), but I can say the thing is sturdy. We have a 6 and 4.5 year old who can swing on it full speed and thought it flexes, it doesn't bounce around. It isn't anchored and it doesn't lift off the ground at all. The swings are high quality and have good rubber grips. The assembly is pretty easy, though two people are required, maybe a third getting the top mounted to the sides (a bit of trouble getting the last few bolts through, but you can do it). It is very tall and should last quite a while. Just as a note my in-laws have one of the cheaper sets and it is rusting like crazy. Also, according to the manual you must check the tightness of the bolts once or twice a month and lube the swing brackets at the top every so often (WD-40 works great).

GREAT PRODUCT. RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY. YOUR CHILDERN WILL LOVE IT.
PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. ASSEMBLY REQUIRES TWO PERSONS AT THE END. A LADDER REQUIRED. EVEN THOUGHT THEY DONT TELL YOU THIS YOU WILL NEED A "C" CLAMP TO COMPLETE ASSEMBLY.

Strong, sturdy....but not easy to assemble!
We had some difficulty assembling this. The directions are a bit hard to follow. I like pictures.....but more wording would have been helpful. The bolts don't seem long enough to get through. I'm a bit bothered that there is about 1/2 an inch of bolt showing once you pass through the beams. Doesn't seem like its enough to tighten, so I recommend you periodically check the bolts to make sure they are tight. There was really no wiggle room for getting these bolts through. One of our beams was not lined up very good with the holes to put a bolt through. After alot of manuevering, we squeezed it through. It should not have been that difficult though. We do have to dig the ground up a bit to put the legs down in because there is some lifting (but then again, it was placed on hard dry earth, then topped with mulch). OH....and although it says made in USA..... not all the parts are! The trapeze says Made in China. Nice, huh? Overall.....I think this set was worth the money. It will last and won't rust. The kids love it.

This is a substantial swingset
This is a heavy duty swingset that children won't outgrow like smaller sets. It's taller than a normal swingset so adults can swing on it too. The swings have safety coatings over the chain closest to the swing seat so fingers won't get pinched. It's worth spending the extra money to get a quality product that can be used for years to come.

Wonderful, quality product
This was a collective gift for our 1 year old. We were able to attach a toddler swing to the trapeze bar/ swing until she is ready to use the regular swings. All pieces were accounted for at time of delivery. ( We checked for all parts before starting the set up.)The directions for assembly were clear and easy to follow. Set up went smoothly and took about 2 and a half hours with both my husband and myself working on it. It is a sturdy product, sure to last for many, many years. My husband and I like the fact that it is strong enough to hold both of us as we swing with our daughter. This set will be enjoyed for many years to come by our daughter and by us!

Excellent Customer Service!
We too experienced some assembly problems. The flange on a couple of the legs didn't allow for the pole to fit. We called Customer Service and the gentleman was very helpful. They decided to ship a set of new poles at no charge to us. The swing set is as adverised, very sturdy--like you would find on a public playground. When my daughter no longer uses it--years from now, I will purchase a porch swing and hang it up for me!

We love it!
This swing set is big, strong and comfortable. My daughters are 10 and 17. They still love to swing in our back yard and this swing set is perfect for them. The assemble direction are very good but it's important NOT to tighten the bolts until all bolts are installed to avoid alignment problems. Also it's big! So you'll need at least two people to stand it up.

The best value high quality swing set you can buy
This swing set is awesome. It is huge! It makes the cheap units you see elsewhere look even cheaper. This is high quality and heavy duty steel. The swings all have heavy duty chain and are rubberized to protect fingers and have the easiest way to attach and unattach if you use a baby bucket swing like we do. This is worth every penny.

Wrong part received
The unit is very well made. Only issue I had was the package I received had the wrong component. I called the manufacturer and it took two weeks because of a backorder scenario. Overall very happy but got a little impatient towards the end.

Very solid, well made swing set
We wanted a commercial quality swing set without the price of one. That's exactly what we received with this product. My husband was amazed at how sturdy this swing set turned out to be. We're sure this will last us for several years. We would highly reccommend this product to everyone. You won't be dissapointed! Great, great product!!!!!!!!!!!

High quality on all counts.
The swing set is well designed for ease of assembly and the directions are basically foolproof if read carefully and followed step-by-step. The finished set is truly "playground" worthy as compared to the typical "lightweight" backyard sets. .As my neighbor said when he peered over the fence, "Now THAT"S A SWING SET!"
By Paule on Home Depot - Jun 12, 2011
Easy, but no so easy . . .
Now that the swing set is up, my whole neighborhood is having a terrific time. The swings are so tall that it gives you that at the park feeling. I bought a baby swing and put that up instead of the monkey bar thing. I had to purchase some clips for it because the chains were different sizes, but that was easy. The swing is not tippy with the kids on it, but gets a little tippy with my 200lbs self when I swing at it's highest point. Putting it together was not that easy. I suggest having more than just your wife. I had four people at one time helping me line up the holes so I could drop the bolts in around the plates. I was really upset when I had to run out to the hardware store because the manufacturer sent two nuts with screwed up threads. Luckily my daughter took a long nap and I was finished when she woke up. Overall, it's freak'n sweet! A little difficult to put together, but if you have the help it's not bad. Way better than the junk people usually put in their backyard.

A-FRAME DELUXE SWING SET
I'm very pleased with the purchase of the A-frame swing set,it's very sturdy compared to your average swing set's and plan on it lasting me for years. The delivery of the set was fast and the directions were easy to understand, nothing like the old wood set we had a few years back that took two days to assemble and over time warped and splintered.

Excellent buy!
This is very good quality, easy enough to put together. The kids love it! We definately recommend!

Great Swing set for Big and Little Kids
We've been looking for a heavy duty swing set for our 2nd child (now 9) to replace the old wooden play set with tower/slide that we got for our first child (now a teen). We had to take down the swing/monkey bars part of that set as the kids got too big and it kept coming out of the ground. We didn't want to invest in another one of those since our kids are "older" but still love to swing at the playground. This set is awesome. Both kids swing on it and it doesn't even move. We plan to stake it down so that the adults can swing on it, too. It is challenging to put together, though, since metal doesn't have any "give." You need 2 people so that you can line up the holes for the bolts, and even then, it took some creativity to get them through. We ended up putting the cross beam on some lawn furniture tables so that we could maneuver the "A" pieces better into place since it is so heavy. I recommend only attaching the cross piece of the "A" after you have the sides attached to the swing beam. Overall, a great product. The color is great, too and blends in with the yard. Now our younger child doesn't have to use the "hand-me down one," and the older one still gets to be a kid!

Solidly built swing set
I managed to put this swing set together with the help of my 6 and 8 year olds. It was fairly simple, and would have been easier if I noticed the side triangle support frames had an inside and outside version! Finished assembly up this morning. It took about 2 hours. The kids were swinging this morning and were quite happy. It's a fairly tall swing, so you really get a big pendulum effect. The frame is very sturdy with very little movement even with both kids swinging. I believe it's definitely worth the price and I expect it to last a very long time.

Great!
Excellent quality and durability. Will last a long time - worth the extra money over the cheaper sets. Took 3-4 hours to put up, follow directions carefully.
