Cheap
1 Star Review   By Horses on Dover Saddlery - May 20, 2014    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

These breeches are super cozy with soft fabric, but the knee patches are the opposite. The knee patches are very slippery and the fabric it is made of peeled off on the first wash even though they were inside out. By the second wash, the whole patch was unthreading and by the fourth wash, a quarter of the knee patch was peeled away. The knee patch could be easily taken off. Very poorly made.

I LOVE these breeches!
5 Star Review   By RidingKathleen on Dover Saddlery - Mar 31, 2014    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

I absolutely LOVE these breeches. They fit better than much more expensive breeches, and when they say Long, they mean Long. I can't tell you how many I have ordered, only to send them back because they weren't long enough. The material is much denser than I imagined they would be at this price. I will order more. I don't want to ride in anything else. I don't show, so they work great for me. They are perfect for schooling and hacking out.

Good for schooling
3 Star Review   By Abby8592364542 on Dover Saddlery - Jan 26, 2014    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

I always end up ruining breeches sometime in the year schooling, so I decided to just get cheapies for schooling. I got a few of these, and they are great because I switch witch breeches I wear every day so they don't get worn out as fast. I definetly wouldn't wear these for a show, but they are great for schooling!

YAY! They still make "regular-rise" breeches!!
4 Star Review   By Andrea on Dover Saddlery - Jan 14, 2014    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

It is almost impossible today to find anything that is NOT "low-rise" and I LOATHE low-rise breeches. I bought a pair expecting to be resigned to the fact that they would barely cover my underwear -- and was pleasantly surprised. These breeches come all the way up to my waist and actually fit! They're also both long enough and wide enough in the calves to accommodate my long, wide-calf legs. Can't beat the price, either, and they seem to be holding up reasonably well. As others have already said, the "leather" knee patches are starting to come off, bur for a $20 pair of breeches, I can deal with that. I also like the fact that, due to the drawstring waist, I can wear these with or without a belt.

Awkward fit
2 Star Review   By Brittany S on Dover Saddlery - Jan 7, 2014    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

I ordered these recently as a back up pair of breeches but I will be sending them back as I absolutely hate the fit. I know breeches usually have a higher waist unless you get the low-rise kind but these go way past my bellybutton. I can't comment on the durability of these because I have only ridden in them once. The fit was enough to turn me off. However, if you don't mind super high-waisted breeches or can look past that fact for only $20, I would recommend these.

Poor quality
1 Star Review   By Riorider95 on Dover Saddlery - Dec 10, 2013    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

The fit is horrible, the knee patches come off, these scratch nice saddles and dont stretch. Wouldnt recommend these to anyone.

You get what you pay for
4 Star Review   By Show jumper on Dover Saddlery - Nov 3, 2013    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

I'm not sure if these breeches fit strange, or if it's just me (small waist, larger hip and calf), but they're just a tad small in the lower leg. Waist and hip were spot on! Not too confident in the knee patch stitching, but I can sew, so it's not a huge deal. Stitching on other parts is sturdy. Thicker fabric is warm and comfy for fall! Overall, great value!

Comfy but low quality
3 Star Review   By NewtoShow114 on Dover Saddlery - Oct 23, 2013    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

I was super excited to see a pair of breeches this cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for. The first time I wore these breeches one of the belt loops broke. The material itself is very comfy, but they are not that great fitting. Overall they are not a pair of breeches I would recommend.

Great for the price
4 Star Review   By Christine88 on Dover Saddlery - Oct 18, 2013    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

I have had 2 pairs of these pull on breaches in beige and black for 6 months and I wear them pretty frequently (I only ride in breeches, and I rode three times a week). I am 5"4 and they come right to my belly button. The good- They are cheap! They are comfortable. They look nice enough. The tan ones could be worn to a show with the right belt. I wear my black ones the most bc they show less dirt then beige and I live an apartment w/out a washer so they do not get washed after every ride. The bad- The only issue I have is the knee pad as many people have stated is coming off one leg. Maybe washing inside out would help? But it's an easy fix and even without knee pads that what half chaps are for. Conclusion- Great buy for everyday riding! I have more then gotten enough use out of them to make the $20 worth it.

Eh....
3 Star Review   By Bonnie on Dover Saddlery - Oct 13, 2013    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

These breeches are not bad for the price. I find they are a best for cooler weather riding since they are on the thicker side. The one problem i have with these (this is why I made my rating low) is that the knee patches are very cheap and they peel after a few good hard rides. If the knee patches were a different material, I would've probably given this product a four or five star rating. I think you're better off buying a Tuffrider breech that is a tad more but much better quality.

Too tight in the wrong places
2 Star Review   By Maddie223 on Dover Saddlery - Sep 15, 2013    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

I was so excited when I first opened the package and was very disappointed when I tried them on. I couldn't even pull them past my hips because of the drawstring and it was very tight around my knees. I gave very low ratings because I wasn't able to wear them riding. I wont be returning them but I will use them as backup breeches incase I am really desperate.

Color Runs
4 Star Review   By vossellerm on Dover Saddlery - Sep 15, 2013    ( See more reviews from Dover Saddlery )

When I saw these breeches I was really excited because they are so cheap and I needed a tan pair for a clinic. When I got them I was satisfied with the fit and they are comfortable. However, after washing them I was disappointed to see that the color runs.... A LOT. Just be careful about the setting you wash these on. Besides that, they are great breeches for a great price.
