Easily the biggest waste of money ever. Scratches too easy, fogs up, and isn't as clear as without a visor. DO NOT BUY THIS. OAKLEY IS TRASH.

Good Visor For Any Postion!
5 Star Review   By ekaJW on Eastbay - Feb 8, 2013    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

This is a great shield. I have worn this for a whole season and have a few minor scratches and one major scratch. I am a d-lineman so this was expected. However, two other kids on my team have them and they play RB/DB and WR/LB and they only have a couple minor scratches. It cleans extremely easy and will fog up but after a couple minutes it gets used to the cold weather or whatever. If you sweat a lot, it is a different deal. I sweat a lot and it gets pretty dirty but I find that you can look past the streaks. During the games that I played both ways I would only get a break during halftime and I would clean it then. However, once it gets dark or if your in a dome like for your state championship or whatever, it simply looks amazing! Crystal clear, and now I actually prefer looking out of a shield instead of without its just so much clearer. Overall, this is a great shield but if you expect to buy it and have it be completely anti-scratch and anti-fog you will be disappointed, and are not understanding football. Its a contact sport. the visor will get scratches, more or less depending on your position but they are not anything that really distorts my vision, as I feel I can look past them.

Oakley products never seem to disappoint and this one is no exception. Clear view, fits nicely into my son's new Riddell REVO Speed and gives him the added eye protection along with improved vision.

A great visor would recomend over other brands
5 Star Review   By luv2review on Eastbay - Nov 3, 2012    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

my son is a varsity football player for his highschool team, and he absolutely loves this visor. He wore many visors before switching to Oakley, such as Under Armour, Z-Leader, and Nike. Oakley was absolutely the best. The best part is, when it gets dirty, just clean it off with water. It has a perfect view distortion and everyone who have visors all go with Oakley. There is one thing though, if you breathe very harsh towards the shield, it will tend to fog up. It will self remove though, so you wont stick your fingers through your helmet to eliminate the fog.

Maybe its just me but i struggled to put this on my helmet, mainly due that one of the pieces to put on the visor that has the metal so you can screw in the visor was slightly to big to fit in visor hole. Had to sand it down a bit and use a razor blade. Then had to use a lubricant to force it in. pros: looks great cons: oakley symbol barely sticks above helmet cage, not really a issue but i wish it stuck out and was visible like in the pictures (probably like this only with riddell revo speed helmet)

Excellent Product
4 Star Review   By FITfootball on Eastbay - Aug 19, 2012    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

These visors are the best you can get. The nike and underarmour have a terrible shape, as well as the fact they have no coating on them. The oakley's shape fits helmets better and makes it easier to see out of. They are super clear and crisp. I've had three of these (by choice) over the past 5 years, high school and college football, so yes they are the best to get. I've had nike and it was okay, but oakley is top notch. The people who say its "hard to clean" and "scratches" or whatever, it's a football visor... its going to be hit and scratch like the rest of them out there. It is extremely easy to clean, you squirt the visor with the spray they give you, and wipe it off with the cloth they give you... not too tough.

it looks alot better and has more of a bubble shape compared to the nike and underarmour straight look on the visor, but the underarmour glares alot in the sun.

bad glare
2 Star Review   By luv2football on Eastbay - Jul 1, 2012    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

looks sweet but i could not see anything because it glares so bad and thats difficult when you are running a route and turning around to catch the ball but cant see it. Used it once and got scratches and it fogged up as well. Save your money and buy some gloves or something.

Purchased for my son who is an offensive lineman. Shield severly gouged within a week. Not just scratches but deep cuts. Called Oakley and they would not exchange under warranty. Replaced it with a Nike shield and Nike has withstood punishment for the last 4 weeks with only minor scratches. Do not recommend Oakley. Not hte same quality that you would expect from its eyewear line.

this product helps me run the football!
5 Star Review   By ItsSteven5295 on Eastbay - Oct 2, 2011    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

I believe this is one of the best visors. a misconception is people think that it doesnt scratch or fog up.. this is not true.. It just does not scratch and fog up as much.. A teammate of mine has underarmour, its really strong piece of plastic, but it scratches more and during night games it fogs way more than my oakley does.. if you have a towel bring it and give it to someone with pockets on the side lines to wipe your face, but you shouldnt need it to much

5 Star Review   By Magicman11 on Eastbay - Jun 29, 2011    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

Overall this is a great product. It's without a doubt one of the best visors you can buy. The only problem is it does get many scratches. After about 2 weeks of hitting, the whole front was covered in scratches, but my view from the inside was not bad. Never fogged. I had an under armour one this past year, it was alright but the oakly was better, Oakley's wouldnt bend. The under armour one did. ONly thing with my under armour one was that it never scratched. Oh well. Teams sponsered by Nike now, so buying a nike one this year!

would not recommend
1 Star Review   By coach925 on Eastbay - Nov 7, 2010    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

Not only was it NOT scratch resistant, but fogged quite regularly in the humid weather. I would not recommend this product for players at any level. My son played QB and with the scratches on the eye shield that were present from just contact in practice before any games, it made his visibility worse.

Great purchase. Looks great and works perfectly. I have contacts and this keeps the dirt and fingers out of my eyes. The scratches you may get, you hardly notice them.

Great product
4 Star Review   By Supaman on Eastbay - Nov 14, 2009    ( See more reviews from Eastbay )

oakley visors are the best ones out there. It has protectives on it to protect you eyes from UV rays. I will also tell you that this is the best looking visor. Nike and Under Armour visors just look ridiculous. It's not very good for people who sweat a lot. They tend to drip on the inside of the visor making things a little bit difficult to see.
