Strengths: Sturdy, quiet, easy to operate, nice variety of programs
Weakness: The assembly instructions could have been clearer. I wish it had an ac adaptor so you were not dependent on batteries.
I love this exercise bike; it has helped me lose weight and get into shape. I have never used a professional bike at a gym, so I cannot do a direct comparasion, but, it is quiet, smooth and reliable. It greatly surpassed my expectations at a reasonable price.

Edge 491 Recumbent Bike
Strengths: The bike has a sturdy frame. The seat is solid and reasonably comfortable. Lots of program options.
Weakness: Assembly takes two people to make it easier. Included tools are functional but not easy to use.
A good value for the price and assembly is doable, but two people make the task a lot easier. It took us about 1 1/2 hours. Better to use your own tools instead of the included ones.
The bike manual is comprehensive and the program options are numerous. This bike compares functionally to those that are much more expensive. There is no need to pay much more if your objective is to get exercise.

Strengths: Programable, Digital Display, Displays Heartrate, Size
I must say this is a great excersie bike. I am very pleased with it. The size is not bulky and the asembly instructions were good and did not need extra tools. There are 12 workouts to choose from and you change the difficuty. It displays the distance you have rode, time you have been riding, you speed, estimated calories burned, and pulse. I feel like I am at a gym when using this.
