Everlast PowerCore Free Standing Heavy Bag
1.5 Star Review  productwiki.com - Aug 19, 2011

The PowerCore Free Standing Heavy Bag is a mid-range freestanding bag for boxing and cross-training workouts at home or in a gym. While lacking the spring-action-response mechanism of the higher-end Everflex model, the PowerCore features a similar reinforced, high-density LDPE base that can be filled with enough water or sand to ensure stability. The bag utilizes a power transfer ring to further reduce base movement, and features shock-absorbing foam with a "Nevatear" shell. Everlast also offers a simpler, entry-level model, the Reflex Bag, for beginners or those wanting to focus on accuracy and timing. Features Freestanding Nevatear technology High-density LDPE base Power transfer ring 52"-65" height range Approx. 250lbs when base filled with water or sand ... PROS: (1) stays stable, dont have to worry about tipping it over unless you body-tackle it (2) nice impact absorption to keep you training without getting prematurely tired ... CONS: (1) instructions are a bit vague when describing the bolts for the flex plate (2) bolts need to be re-tightened occasionally (3) fitting the foam cylinder on the bag is very difficult, takes a lot of effort to squeeze everything into the bag (4) the water inside tends to shift a lot when hit (5) included gloves do little to protect your hands, poorly designed
