The Hulk
4 Star Review  GameZone - Jun 8, 2003

On top of finally getting his own movie this summer, everyone’s favorite big, green mass of primal fury is getting his own cross-platform video game. The Hulk is the latest movie tie-in to hit the PC, and the game features a brand new storyline that takes place after the events in the movie. The Hulk offers up a tasty dish of carnage and destruction, and does a fine job of emulating what it’s like to be the gamma-bombarded creature. However, the experience is indeed short-lived, and the repetitive gameplay will no doubt wear thin after a while. Still, The Hulk is a fun and mindless smashing game that will keep you entertained for a little while.

Hulk
2 Star Review  GameSpy - Jun 7, 2003

I spent a considerable amount of time playing Vivendi Universal's Hulk game. Unlike my console colleague, who covered the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube versions of the game, I wasn't really sure how to put my opinion down in words. One side of me was happy that game was light years better than most movie adaptations. The other side of me was angry that more wasn't done to make this a truly great gameplay experience. Rather than try to appease both sides of my personality, I decided instead to talk to a pair of experts on the game -- the title's stars, Dr. Bruce Banner, and a large green fellow that I shall refer to as Mr. H. What follows is a transcript of our conversation.

Hulk
4 Star Review  IGN.com - May 23, 2003

With videogames based on summer blockbusters selling like hotcakes , it's really no surprise to see that Vivendi Universal has dipped its own foot into the pool with the digital reenactment of its parent company's impending hit, The Hulk. Developed by Radical Entertainment and powered by the full cooperation of Marvel Comics and Universal Pictures, Hulk could potentially be just as big as its movie to game predecessors -- and even bigger if the movie draws the type of numbers its supporters are expecting.
