In "Duck and Run," vocalist/lyricist Brad Arnold urges fans to remain positive despite life's trials. The delicate balance of human relations is explored in "Not Enough." In "Be Like That," Arnold sings of a daydreamer's envy, sounding like a heavier Matchbox 20. Though the band began as a power trio, with Arnold on drums and vocals, 3 Doors Down added a second guitarist and a drummer to fatten its sound for THE BETTER LIFE.

High energy, a "rock your world" CD....especially Kryptonite
I haven't heard any songs by 3 Doors Down except 'Kriptonite'. I love the group's ability to write rock from the heart, and I know they will have many more hits. Way to go guys!

The only album I gave 5 stars in the last year was David Gray’s “White Ladder”. But this one is pretty close. I love the songwriting and melodies, and its a fun album to listen to!
