Nobody has written in English about Banke Shinobinoden Ninjutsu before. This book, by Daniel DiMarzio, is the first book to talk about the subject. It gives a glimpse into old-school training, transmitted directly from teacher to student. The book also gives great information about living and surviving in Japan.
