Kaytee Forti-Diet
I've noticed that my little guys have more energy after switching to this type of food. I only give them seeds as treats or when bonding with my gerbils( i'm still taming them).

not nutritionally acceptable
this product contains WAY too much protein at 21%. Rats only need 14%.

This product is a healthy choice for rats.
We have looked elsewhere for cheaper prices, but Petco maintains the lowest price out there. Ordering online is very easy and you can set up automatic deliveries. Items are usually here before expected arrival date. I just think they are great!

Awesome Food
My hamster loves this food! It is very healthy but i does lack variety. ( duh :o ) So, i also mix these food blocks with a mix, and some treats.

Tidy and Good overall food
Like the pellet form: gives the rats something to chew and no wasted food, with overall nutrition. I think my rats kind of like the SunSeed Sunthing Special Critter Cubes a bit better, but Petco doesn't have them and these are a close substitute.
