works amazingly well

My puppy took very quickly to it and does its business on it all the time. its perfect for an apartment balcony and it doesn't stink up your apartment inside unless you let it sit there in urine and poo. Great pad, saves money on buying regular puppy pads, potty time is less stressful, and clean up is easier than others lead you on to believe.

Better than nothing

I would never use this product inside. Too smelly. Perfect for our 6th apartment balcony. We leave the door cracked; our Chiweenie lets himself out while we're at work. He was quick to train using the patch - no more accidents inside. The Potty Patch is awful to clean, so I started using disposable pads with it. The literature that comes with the product suggests you buy pads size 17x27 to fit...

The literature that comes with the product suggests you buy pads size 17x27 to fit the tray, however even the pads that are made by the same company and say that they fit the product are way too small (23x13). If the entire tray isn't covered you end up wasting pads and have to clean it anyway.

Smelly Potty Patch

This seems to be great but the clean up isn't. There sre 3 direrent parts to clean. After a short ammount of time even with proper cleaning the stinch stays. My dog used it not problem. Missing the toilet as you try you pour urine out is awful. The mat sheds. The middle grate develops the stnch like the grass. Let the dog out or use a shammie. I tried everything short of bleach to kill the odor....

Great Alternative!

Our 10 week old puppy was potty trained in a week using the Potty Patch. It's an amazing alternative to trying to get the dog out in time.

Don't Waste your Money.......

We have 2 Chihuahuas.....they didn't like the feel of the fake grass or something. Maybe I just wasn't patient enough with the training, but I think there needs to be improvement on this product. There are products that have a scent that you use to actually attract the dog to use the spot, but this certainly doesn't have that. For now, don't waste your time and money.
