My cats love it

The first night we set up the fountain, my cats drank more water than I have seen them drink EVER. It has been wonderful. It's easy to clean and it keeps the water fresh and cold. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves and spoils their cats like I do.

Good...but broke within a month

I decided to get a fountain due to my cat having bladder infection issues. I used to have a Drinkwell fountain, but it started leaking so I stopped using it for nearly six months. It was loud and a pain to clean. Then I got another kitty and decided to figure out why the Drinkwell was leaking. Turns out the opening where the motor/pump goes had cracked. There was an inch long crack right in the plastic and no way to fix it so I started looking for a new fountain. I ran across this one on the Petco website and the reviews were great. I even looked at it in the store and then purchased it online due to the great deals being offered. I didn't start using it until a week after Christmas. Wow! What a quiet motor. I couldn't even hear it when I was in the next room. And it's so easy to clean! I have hard water and have to use a water softner and the gunk that built up in the Drinkwell made the plastic slimey. That build up doesn't happen with the stainless steel design. I love it. Any both my cats love it. They played with it for ten minutes straight after I set it up. The only thing I can complain about is that within three to four weeks (during the week of 1/16) the motor/pump stopped working. I'm planning on taking it back to the store and exchanging it for the same model. I hope I just got a bad motor - of all the reviews I read not one mentioned this problem. So, I do think overall it's a good purchase and worth the money, but if the second one has the same issue I am going to have to revise my review.

Great quality

Got this fountain about 2 weeks ago. Very well made. Easy to assemble. Love the stainless, think it will last much better than plastic. My cat won't drink water from gravity water bowls. He waited until I got home and turned on sink faucet to drink. He played in the fountain when I first set it up, however he seems to be drinking from it now. I have to add water every day, and I don't think it is all due to evaporation. Just poor water out of a cup into bowl and it is good to go!! Unit is not noisy at all!

Kitty and I are both pleased with this purchase.

We have had this fountain for a month. Most important is that Kitty drinks much more water from a fountain than a bowl. Next important feature is that this fountain is much easier to clean than the previous one we had. It is also smaller and takes up less floor space.

Compact, attractive, and useful

This is the best water fountain for cats that I have ever owned. I have 3 cats, and all 3 gravitate to the fountain daily. I no longer have to worry that their water needs are being met. That they're drinking filtered, running water is a bonus. I also love that it's made out of stainless steel and not plastic. No parts that can break off... It's compact and fits nicely in a corner in the kitchen....

It's compact and fits nicely in a corner in the kitchen. It fits in nicely with any kitchen decor. Most especially, it got my male cat drinking water on a much more regular basis. He rarely drank out of the water bowl before I started using fountains, and he really seems to like this fountain.
