Hydor Koralia Circulation & Wave Pumps boast some unique and enhanced features that no other pump does! It is designed to be durable and long lasting with an electronic start up and advanced propeller and rotors. Koralia features include reduction of size, decreased noise, greater energy-efficiency, and wavemaker timer use. It is an affordable, versatile pump with a suction cup and magnet mounting to allow you to easily place it wherever you prefer in your aquarium, eliminating any dead spots. The magnet will work on glass up to 1/2 thick, and the highly adaptable sphere enclosure uses a ball joint assembly to allow a full 360 degree range to angle the water flow exactly where you want. The low wattage Koralia pump is energy efficient and has a high flow rate that is achieved by his unique prop design impeller. The propeller is self correcting to maintain a proper spin and the sphere enclosure prevents any damage to curious fish. Its shaft-less propeller design eliminates the starting and stopping noise for better performance with a wave maker. Each pump uses 50% less energy and generates up to 20% more water flow than the original Koralia pump. Unit has a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.

It works great but is a little noisy when using a wave maker

Great Pump for a great price.
This really is my favorite power head. I have two pumps in my 180. The Magnum and a Vortech MP40. To be quite honest the Magnum may be too much pump for a tank this size. I had to reposition it many times in the beginning to find a spot where my sand bed was not constantly being blow about. The MP40 is a nice pump and has more bells and whistles, but cost quite a bit more. The Magnum is quieter...

Nice Powerhead
This is one of the best powerheads I've ever ran on a wave controller. It's startup is completely silent and it really pushes some water.

OUT OF THE BOX THE FIRST ONE FAILED IN AN HOUR. WAS SENT A NEW ONE AND HAVE HAD IT FOR 2 WEEKS WITH NO PROBLEMS. ONCE I GOT A HYDOR MAGNUM 8 THAT WORKED I WAS IN NO WAY DISAPOINTED IN ITS PERFORMANCE. THIS PRODUCT MOVES A TON OF WATER. I HAVE A 300 GALLON TANK WITH LITTLE IN IT FOR DECORRATONS. I ALSO HAVE VERY FINE SAND FOR SUBSTRATE. WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS STRONG OF MOVER FOR THIS SIZE TANK...
