outstanding pump/filter
I have had problems in my 55 gallon fresh water aquarium with chemical build ups and cloudy water all the time. No matter what I tried, I could not get the tank to clear up. Flawless
I've had this filter running for one week now, and my fish are thriving again. My nitrates have been cut in half, and the water is polished to a crystal clear finish. Truly the best investment I've made to my set-up.

Need to rethink hoses
I have 55g overstocked with Characidae, Fluval 305 and 105 running 1 year. Easy to maintain, change media, etc. Tank has good chemistry. Be careful of the buildup in the ribbed hoses. the hoses permit the growth of a white feathery like substance. When I turned my filter on after changing media, it looked like a snow storm in the tank. It has happened 3 times in the past year. I keep forgetting...

EXCELLENT!!!
This filter is amazing! We hook up the filter one night and the next morning, the tank was super clear. We never saw my tank this clear and clean. Our fishes and plants look more healther. The product is a bit pricey but works really good. I highly recommend this to everybody.
