My cat is weird

This, by all means, is a terrific, well-thought out toy. My cat's reaction to it was not typical: she wasn't overly intrigued by it when it was on! When it was off, she went nuts on it, scratching and clawing the elastic ribbon that housed the string...thereby stretching it out...and pretty much breaking this toy in one day...good job, my little Sophie...!

my cat loves this toy

My cat loves to tackle this toy. Even when he is not actively playing with it, he stares at it constantly. Not only is he entertained by it, but people are entertained watching him play with it.

LOTS OF FUN

THIS IS THE 2nd ONE I HAVE BOUGHT. THE FIRST ONE AS A XMAS GIFT FOR MY TWIN KITTIES AND THEY LOVE THIS TOY. BUT, PLACE IT ON A DOOR WITH FRONT & BACK ACCES TO THE TOY. THEY LOVE PLAYING FROM BEHIND THE DOOR . WORD OF CAUTION; MY CATS SHREDDED THE BLACK ELASTIC AND ONE OF THEM ALMOST GAGGED ON A ELASTIC STRING FROM IT. I CHANGED THE ATTACHING CORD AND IT STILL WORKED GREAT!!

Best toy ever!!!

I bought this for my cats years ago. Through moving it got lost so I found it again on petco.com (only) and after waiting 2 weeks they notified me it was in stock. I received it within 5 days and my 3 cats all take turn chasing the string as it goes around and around on the elastic band. They have so much fun! I have to close the door it hangs from otherwise the door swings crazily as they play...

Too costly for the quality

All of my cats loved this toy HOWEVER I expected it to last longer than it did. Within about 6 mo. time the string started getting hung up inside of the toy. The cats are able to catch the string and hang on to it and I think that this causes problems with the mechanisms inside of the toy. It is a great concept but needs to be better quality. I wouldn't buy this again at this price. It just does...
