I have been using pzi since 1970 for my cat and using Prozinc now. I went to prozinc when you could no longer get pzi. I had enough to last me of pzi until prozinc came out. I am still using it and my cat does very well on it. He has been getting 2units in the AM and 2 units in the PM. Keep up the insulin for our much needed care of our cats. I did not write down the date I started using prozinc so I cannot answer the last question with a date, but I can say I been buying it every since it came out whatever year that was?
