Saw is 12''. That's too short for the 45.

I just installed a laminate floor and used this for the new trim. Bads: The saw is 12 inches and kept slipping out of the guide on the far end - not enough length to stay in the slot. Doesn't really work.

The box part is fine. The saw is complete junk! First..it isn't a backsaw. The teeth point forward, Secondly, the saw is so cheap it doesn't cut in either direction! I threw the saw out and bought a replacement locally.

Wonderful!

Very accurate. I can't afford a power saw, and I'll only use this thing a few times a year, but I needed accurate cuts on the few boards I needed to cut. This saved me money, and all my cuts were perfect! The saw is quick and sharp, and my angles were all perfect. Not for the professional, for sure, but for the guy or gal who only needs to make miter cuts once in a while. it is great!

good for short term use

this saw is perfect for you if 1. your budget is tight 2. you only have a few pieces to cut 3. you do not have a friend that owns a lot of tools so you can borrow a electric saw. ;)

Woked well

This product worked very well for the small, 1-room project I was working on. I didn't want to invest a lot of money into a tool that I would only use once, maybe twice. So it is definitely worth it for small projects.
