I purchased this to replace a cheap grinder from HF that broke after two hours of use. As with all my other Makita tools this grinder is well made and works great. This Is A BEAST!

I have other Makita power tools,and to say the very least,they hold up and last.You may pay a little more but you get a bang for the buck.I bought the 9557PB,they had lesser expensive ones but the guy at Home depot explained them all to me.The cheaper ones are great for simple home projects,but the better ones have higher speed motors and really are work horses.This one is simply a beast.I cut...

Perfect for multiple uses

I've been using this grinder instead of a wet saw to cut odd angles in both marble and porcelain tiles. (I use the Brutus manual tile cutter for straight cuts, which is fantastic and almost dust free.) This angle grinder offers very good control and plenty of power, but without being overwhelming. Another great Makita Product

Ive used DeWalts, Metabos, Milwaukees and other Makitas. For the price I couldn't be happier with this grinder. Its been used for grinding concrete, cutting off metal, cutting metal I beams and it just powers through it. Im also a big fan of the paddle switch over the thumb switch

great little machine

this little grinder has plenty of power and longevity, it is used about 7 hours a day 5 days a week and it just keeps going
