I got this sander for restoring a piano, but have ended up using it for my woodworking projects. It worked just fine for a few days. After what was probably less than 4 hours of sanding, the paper would just fall off as the pad was vibrating. I have tried all kinds of things to get it to work right. I have even tried using duct tape to hold the paper on in addition to the clips that are built onto the sander. The clips just aren't strong enough, plain and simple. Seriously, if you are considering buying any type of orbital sander, spend the extra $30 and get a real random orbital sander. I have used those and they work great.

Before I bought this I was struggling to decide if I wanted to spend the extra for a random orbital sander but I decided that I didn't need that feature for my current projects. I am glad I did because this thing works like a dream and I saved some money.
