2 Star Review   By Jaxx on Home Depot - Dec 10, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Dewalt used to be a dependable brand but after i used this drill im just disappointed. the key chuck feature would not get tight enough and stripped the insides out.

Really powerfull
4 Star Review   By Jack on Home Depot - Jun 9, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

This is a very powerful drill. I find it heavy for small or precise jobs but great for drilling 2x4's,4x4's or masonry. I was disappointed to find it was made in China. I would not have purchased it had I known.

Not as good as the older model.
3 Star Review   By Skip on Home Depot - Mar 15, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I purchased this drill as a back up for my 8 year old DW106 (I changed the brushes twice so I figured it was on its last leg). It has 2 more amps than my older model and you definitely feel the power difference although not as much as I would think. The main difference seems to be quality. My older model was made in the USA and this one China (the first one I bought was DOA so I exchanged it for another one). My older model runs smoother with less vibration and noise. This model also does not have a lock on button like my older one has so if you're using it with a wheel like I am its hard on your fingers. Don't understand why they omitted this feature. I give my older model 5 stars and this one 3. Otherwise this drill is just ok.

Great Corded Drill
5 Star Review   By GoBlueEngineer on Home Depot - Mar 5, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

This is a great corded drill to have around. Plenty of power and good trigger (speed) control. If you need power and are on a budget (those 18V cordless drills are really expensive, not to mention when the batteries stop holding a charge), this is a great choice. It doesn't have a clutch like most cordless drills do, but a little practice on the trigger and its just fine. I really like having this around to supplement my inexpensive 14V cordless. This thing costs less than a replacement battery for one of those big cordless drills. Definitely a better value for me. If you really NEED power and portability you're going to have to spend the money, but if you can deal with an extension cord when you really need max power, this will work at a fraction of the price.

Gets Hot Fast
3 Star Review   By Milo on Home Depot - Dec 29, 2011    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Seems to be high quality, but after driving 8 lag bolts over an hour it is too hot to use. I would step up to the 1/2" chuck model, but it doesn't have the RPM's I might occasionally need and doesn't have significantly more amperage.
