Very handy. Useful for car repair or caprentry.
5 Star Review   By Davy on Home Depot - May 7, 2013

Great little drill for $20. Has already (one month) saved me that in the time it took to take screws out of a car dashboard and repair stuff on the old Roadtrek van- drilling holes, using self-threading screws, etc. It is surprisingly powerful. I don't much like the top-of-the-unit switch, which often goes on accidentally. But the drill is a great help. I bought a Ryobi (30? piece) set of drill bits, screw-driver bits, 3/8",5/16",1/2" sockets, and a 1/2" socket adapter for my ratchets, etc. I'll never be without something like this little drill. I love it.

Super practical
5 Star Review   By Bella on Home Depot - Feb 24, 2013

Really great little electric screwdriver! I use it for a variety of jobs around the house including changing outlets, installing and removing faceplates and lots of jobs in the kitchen and garage. Good power (obviously not a power drill) but does get most jobs done. Recommended!

Super handy!
5 Star Review   By Matrix on Home Depot - Feb 14, 2012

Instead of turning and turning a conventional screwdriver and wasting time/wearing out your hands, I picked this up and it is so much faster! This thing has saved me so much time its unbelievable. Just remember to always plug it in after you are done with it. Pretty decent power, was even able to drill screws into wood, granted it sounded like it was struggling but got it done regardless. Highly recommend! Should be in everyone's tool set!

Very useful for furniture assembly
5 Star Review   By PRR929 on Home Depot - Dec 6, 2011

I put together three bookshelves and entertainment center and a side table with it's help. I found that I could use the allen wrench bits from a cheap dollar store set in the driver also. What a time and wrist saver! Would recommend for light duty use.

3.6 Volt Screwdriver
4 Star Review   By TheCiscoKid on Home Depot - Jul 6, 2009

Good value. I bought from Home Depot because they had the best price and free shipping. This is a handy tool. I would give it 5 stars but there is not a built in place to store the bits. There is room, but just not included. Good product otherwise.

I REALLY DID IT.
5 Star Review   By teenypal on Home Depot - Jan 24, 2008

I REALLY DID IT, FOR THE FIRST TIME FOR CHRISTMAS I ACTUALLY PURCHASED SOMETHING MY HUSBAND COULD USE AND LOVED. I DON'T USUALLY HAVE THAT KIND OF LUCK, HE STARTED OUT BY SAYING YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO BUY THINGS FOR EACH OTHER THEY NEVER WORK ANYWAY. WELL I TOLD HIM I WAS SORRY AND I WOULD RETURN IT, AS HE IS OUT IN THE OTHER ROOM MAKING LITTLE COMMENTS I KEPT SAYING I WILL TAKE IT BACK I WILL TAKE IT BACK. A MINUTE LATER HE COMES IN WITH THE BOX AND SAYS HERE TAKE IT BACK. ONLY ONE PROBLEM THE BOX WAS EMPTY. HE STARTED LAUGHING AND HE SAID YOU REALLY DID IT THIS YEAR. THIS IS REALLY SOMETHING I CAN USE AND IT IS PREFECT SIZE FOR WHAT I NEED IT FOR. PLUS WITH HIM HAVING CARPUL TUNNEL IT MAKES LIFE SO MUCH EASIER FOR HIM. YEA I REALLY REALLY DID IT. I WOULD SUGGEST THIS PRODUCT TO ANY MAN OR WOMEN THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT DISCRIMINATE. IT IS EASY FOR BOTH MALE OR FEMALE TO USE. THANKS AGAIN HOME DEPOT FOR MAKING MY HUBBY'S CHRISTMAS SO MUCH NICER THEN JUST UNDERWARE AND SOCKS. HE WAS 5REALLY GETTING TIRED OF THAT. SINCERELY JODI

Compact and Useful
4 Star Review   By AllHome on Home Depot - Jan 16, 2008

We purchased this about 6 months ago when moving into our new home. We have used it many times. It's so easy and we like how you can change the angle. The only time it was tricky was when putting up our blinds that are inset and the drill would hit the wall. Otherwise... EXCELLENT!

one year experience
2 Star Review   By holtwork on Home Depot - Aug 13, 2007

I purchased this driver one year ago and have used it about five times. It performed as designed for the first six months, then, I noticed, it was running out of power after just five minutes of use. Soon, it no longer would hold a charge. Changing batteries is cost prohibitive. I have a Skill driver without the swivel feature, and it has been running without a problem for over two years.

BLACK & DECKER HANDHELD POWER SCREWDRVIER
5 Star Review   By SUPERMOM04 on Home Depot - Aug 9, 2007

As a single mother with small children, there is always a need for something to be unscrewed, or screwed in, such as toys needing batteries, etc. Also, being a woman, I am always finding small tasks around the home that I am left to tackle myself, and the Black & Decker handheld power screwdriver has become my favorite assistant!! It makes even sometimes difficult projects into a quick and easy to accomplish task. I see this as a women's best friend in the tool world and would highly recommend to anyone. A++++++++++

Most power in smallest size
4 Star Review   By member kawehiatPG - Mar 30, 2007

Strengths: Powerful

Weakness: uncomfortable in some positions

This power screwdriver is awesome. It has no problem pushing a screw through wood, metal and in one case three sheets of roofing, although i wouldn't suggest using it for that purpose. It works great on all the around the house small jobs where you just need that extra power to get the job done. It is uncomfortable to hold in some positions and it is hard to depress the buttons but for the most part it is a great buy.

My shelves haven't fallen yet
4 Star Review   By member Bittis - Oct 24, 2006

Strengths: Powerful enough for any screwdrive task you will need. Small enough to store in your normal tool case.

Weakness: Not the most comfortable design for use. Power button can be tough to use in some positions.

I bought this tool to install shelves in my new apartment. The initial charge time was annoying (had to wait 12 hours), but it got the job done with relative ease. I did find trouble finding a comfortable position to hold the driver in while applying pressure. All in all, it is a good tool to have around for random tasks, and at a very reasonable price.

Great screwdriver for ocasional use
4 Star Review   By member leemelnikov - Jul 1, 2006

Strengths: good design. Not too large. Good for getting into smaller places.

Weakness: battery doesn't last long. The whole unit needs to be plugged into the charger.

Great, powerfull small screwdriver. The battery is built in so you just can't throw in a spare battery pack if you run it down. Good but good for ocasional use.
