Couldn't work any better
5 Star Review   By MacNut11 on Home Depot - Jun 17, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Ours has driven about 1000 3 1/4" nails and no misfires. You can make it bury the nail head or make it flush. It's light weight, easy to load and ergonomic. For the ones that are running out of air quickly it's not the guns fault, you either have an air leak or too small of a compressor, don't blame the gun. And for it not using the last few nails just drop another stick of nails in it and keep going, geez.

Nailer = Flawless
5 Star Review   By SpudLauncher on Home Depot - Jun 2, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

This was my first time using a framing nailer. I've used brad nailers for trim, but never anything this powerful. I used this to frame out a new location for a 1/2 bath and it made quick work of it. I could spend my time measuring and designing instead of hammering all day. I just laid the wood out on the floor and with this nailer is was a wall in minutes. With a few custom built-ins, I didn't want to waste time trying to nail in each spacer and support one at a time. I used this nailer in conjunction with a Porter Cable 6-gallon pancake compressor and had no problems. The compressor was able to keep up just fine. Just a few 3-5 drops of tool oil at each reload and I had absolutely no jambs or problems. I also used 3.25" round plastic collated nails which remind you to keep your eye protection on with those plastic shards shooting out. I was able to toe-nail with ease in the spots where I wanted to further strengthen already installed studs. The included plastic case is really nice. It is good to know I can store this nailer away safely since I won't be using it for a while or at least until the wife wants the next project started.

Disappointed
2 Star Review   By Tpatts on Home Depot - Apr 28, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I had borrowed a similar gun from someone and was impressed with the performance. So, I decided to buy one. It seems that my air compresser is always running and it will not use the last 3 nails of every run.

What a gun!
5 Star Review   By Greg on Home Depot - Mar 11, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I just framed a 20' x 40' workshop with this gun and WOW! This thing is powerful, easy to use, durable and accurate. I've dropped it, covered it in mud, wedged it in between joists and generally abused it and it just takes the abuse and asks for more. I can toenail with it, line it up to drive nails into brackets, speed nail, etc. I recommend removing the plastic tip, you don't need it. The hook on the back of the gun is really useful as well. I use it to lower the gun down and hook it to my ladder or I'll hook it to my pants when climbing up on something. The safety can be used with one hand, and the depth adjustment works well also.

Time Saver
5 Star Review   By SoCalDIYer on Home Depot - Feb 26, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I bought the FR350B to help build an oversize shed. Worth every cent considering time saved, and not having to use my arm up pounding nails. I have nailed plywood shear walls, roof ply, and floor ply before and there is no comparison in the time and energy saved. Planning on using it to nail the exterior siding next weekend. I also have a Porter Cable PIN nailer, Brad nailer, and Finish nailer that I used when remodeling the house prior to starting the shed, along with the C2002WK pancake compressor. All have worked flawlessly. Not a single missfire in about 5000 nails. The C2002WK pancake compressor will power the FR350B framing nailer just fine for a single user. You'll need to let it catch up every 20 nails or so when nailing plywood for shearwalls, roof, or floors but this is not a big deal for a DIYer. I have a larger 6.5 hp 30 gallon compressor that I could use but it was not worth the hassle for a relatively small project. If you are building a house get a compressor larger than the C2002WK. The FR350B drives 3-1/4"x0.131 nails easily. I used these nails cause they are more than adequate for framing and readily available. If you need to drive 16d commons you will need a bigger gun, but it will probably split your lumber if moisture content is low so I would say it's not worth the added expense unless you are a Pro doing commercial work where 16d commons are specified. Overall, I have been very happy with all my Porter Cable products mentioned above, would buy them again, and would recommend them to anyone considering purchasing pneumatic nailers. They have saved countless hours of work and hassle, and have allowed me to easily do all my without assistance.

Powerful
5 Star Review   By Terry on Home Depot - Jan 15, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Have used this nailer to put together a 24 X 52 ' garage. Absolutely great, takes changes in nails without issue, operated between 80 and 120 PSI, had very few nails to knock down even in the treated beams. If this one ever dies I will buy another, this thing is great. Doing siding, depth of drive was easy to make when needed and the results were consistent.

Very Good Nail Gun
4 Star Review   By RollTide73 on Home Depot - Nov 10, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I purchased this gun in Jan 2011 to construct a workshop in my back yard (16x24). The gun worked flawlessly shooting both 2-3/8" and 3-1/2" framing nails. The one thing that went wrong was the plastic tip on the tip of the gun came off and had to be put back on several times. That was a bit frustrating, but the operation of the gun was perfect.
