This product is typical chinese made stuff
1 Star Review   By RMartinez on Home Depot - Jun 8, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I have owned jackson wheelbarrows before and let me say this is not a USA made wheelbarrow. Old jackson wheelbarrows were made using a single piece of metal for the tub.The new one I went to go purchase on 6-8-2013 is a three piece design or two ,I cant remember as I took it back within the hour. Pros : none Cons: Holes on the wood spacers that go underneath the actual handle bars were either to long or the holes on the tub were not properly drilled in the right spot. Flimsy metal for the tub. Tire is a typical chinese junk.

Strong and stable wheelbarrow
5 Star Review   By Jaoltr on Home Depot - May 29, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

This is a good, strong, and stable wheelbarrow that can take a load of rocks or bricks with ease. It was more expensive than what I think a wheelbarrow should cost, but I wasn't about to waste money on a cheaper product that wouldn't last.

Most sturdy wheelbarrow I have ever used
4 Star Review   By Brad on Home Depot - May 28, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Overall, this is a great wheelbarrow. At the price point though, I do wish that the tire was a bit more rugged. I already got a flat due to running it over some brush with some thorns that were too much for the tire to handle. I'm not necessarily a fan of the flat-free tires, but perhaps a thicker rubber would have been a good solution here. I did buy a nice plastic tub wheelbarrow for my father-in-law a couple years ago. It was about $60 compared to the Johnson one I bought for me at $99. The difference in stability is incredible. With mine, I don't get nearly the amount of side to side wobble, and the handles are way more sturdy. I also now do not have to worry about cracking the tub, which did happen to my father-in-law's.

Tire cracking after 1 year.
3 Star Review   By JoeN on Home Depot - May 15, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

After one year the pneumatic tire developed pronounced cracks. The wheelbarrow has been used only for personal, non-commercial work. The tire has been kept at the correct 30 psi inflation and the wheelbarrow has never been left out in the weather or exposed to chemicals or fumes. I know rubber will dry out and crack with age, however the cracks in this tire are already worse than the cracks in the tire of my old wheelbarrow, which is thirty (30) years old! Also the handles are not very hard. Wood started to compress a lot when I tried to tighten the axle bracket bolts, so added fender washers to spread the load. Really like it otherwise, especially the anti-tip-back leg stabilizers. To HD's credit, the manager offered me a new wheel from stock, but they didn't have the right size. Tried to contact the manufacturer by email and phone and got no response.

Medium to Heavy Duty Project Ready
4 Star Review   By Bobbytwenty on Home Depot - May 15, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

1. Easy one person assembly. 2. Start to finish 40 minutes maximum and two beers.. 3. Expectations were met on the number of tools required to assemble. 4 Pneumatic (air filled) tire enables traversing over semi stable non-pavement conditions. 5. Medium to heavy use capability for serious residential projects and eight month light commercial projects.

Best wheelbarrow I've ever owned
5 Star Review   By Zenbowie on Home Depot - Apr 23, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

The product is easy to assemble with a single pictorial instruction sheet. Once assembled I began moving twelve cubic yards of leaf gro. Quite wet so very heavy but the wheelbarrow performed well. Given the sturdy construction and ease of use I expect to have this wheelbarrow for many years.

Great Wheelbarrow
5 Star Review   By Jason on Home Depot - Mar 16, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I've used this particular wheelbarrow at a friend's house to move rock, cement bags, to mix cement in, moving dirt, etc and it holds up very well. I finally bought one for myself about a month ago and I'm expecting it to last for a long time.

Solid Product
5 Star Review   By gulloj on Home Depot - Dec 3, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I moved a cord of wood on my property with this wheelbarrow and it performed great. I was carrying loads across the fall-line of a steep, muddy hill that was covered with 1/2" of slushy snow. Because of the knobby tire, it gripped the earth and did not slip down the hill. It never tipped, even when I set it on uneven ground while fully loaded. It always felt solid and was easy to handle. I'm glad I took the advice of other reviews and stayed away from the imitations. I imagine I will not need to ever buy another wheelbarrow.

Good quality, just missing hardware.
4 Star Review   By PAJ3Cub on Home Depot - Nov 21, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I'm happy with the quality of the wheel barrow, but was disappointed during assembly to find that there wasn't enough hardware included to complete the construction. The hardware was included in a sealed bag, so I know it didn't fall out. I was missing two 3/4" bolts and one nut. Looks like I'll be visiting Home Depot again tomorrow to purchase the extra hardware. For the money of this barrow, I would have expected better quality control. Fortunately, it was just hardware missing and not a major part. I would purchase this barrow again,

Quality wheelbarrow
5 Star Review   By Roachie on Home Depot - Oct 23, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Good wheelbarrow. My cousin had one so I know they were good. I assembled myself and used washers for additional support on the axle mount and front suppoprt. I also greased the axle before putting it together. Things you would not get done if you have them assemble for you.

Carries More Than Your Wife & Won't Talk Back.
4 Star Review   By Legz on Home Depot - Oct 6, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Seriously, I've had one of these for 30 years for mixing concrete, masonry and soil, as well as carrying all manner of construction materials. Always store it clean, tipped up to dry and out of weather. Occasionally oil the handles and inside of tray.

Sturdy, Solid Wheelbarrow
5 Star Review   By PaulS on Home Depot - May 28, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

First thing I noticed is that the handles are rather heavy, like they are made from very dense, hard wood. After assembling the item my initial thought is that it feels very sturdy and solid. Many reviewers warned against the 'flat free' wheels and this particular model has inflatable wheels with a knobby pattern, a nice feature for added traction (there is a very similar model with the flat free tires, and I chose this one simply because of the wheels). I also decided to go with a steel tray versus the poly ones, which I have been using. I will simply have to care for it differently than what I am used to. I have only used it once so far to mix soil for plant potting, so I cannot comment on how it will hold up over time. But based on my initial impression, I believe it will perform as expected. And now that I have scratched the pretty blue paint and somewhat broke it in, I'm looking forward to seeing what this thing is made of. I have a feeling that it can take what I can throw at it.

Sturdy unit
4 Star Review   By Dexter on Home Depot - May 22, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Pros. Good unit. I like the pneumatic wheels, it makes going over bumps and small hills so much easier. Cons. You have to put it together yourself.

5 Star Review   By Nichama70 on Home Depot - Apr 24, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Bought this about a week ago and have used it to move about 30 full loads of dirt and rocks. So far it has held up to the heaping loads without a problem. It is sturdy and well built.

A good solid tool
5 Star Review   By Eric92705 on Home Depot - Jan 15, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

The three mains things I wanted were: 1) Heavy gauge steel bucket, 2) Pneumatic tire, 3) Wood handles. This wheelbarrow has all three. It's well built and very solid. The first load it hauled was rocks and cement and it handled it very well. Cheaper models would have squirmed and shifted under the weight but this one handled it with ease.
