Our Requirements: an undermount double stainless steel sink, 50/50 split and a minimum 18-gauge (20-gauge is tinny sounding and will dent) for our kitchen remodel. After searching in local home stores, we couldn't find any that met our specifications, so we went online and found this sink that met, or exceeded, our requirements. Our First Choice: We were nervous about buying something sight-unseen, but couldn't be happier with our Kraus sink! The 16-gauge construction is an added plus--no denting from heavy pots and pans, even quieter than the 18-gauge and seems very durable. It is a great value with the drains and heavy-duty wire racks included. There are even extra plastic feet and edges for the wire racks, if needed, and the racks really help protect the sink. Other sinks did not come with drains (some sets can be $70) or stoppers and no other brand of sink we found had wire racks included. We had a high arch faucet installed but have not had any water splashing outside the sink, even on full-blast. The depth of the sink is very ample for washing large stock pots and makes clean up easy. The granite fabricator used the cardboard template included in the box to cut the hole in the granite, and it was a perfect match for the sink. His undermount installation was simple and completed quickly. The drain basket that catches food, with a handle, makes lifting it out to discard debris so easy. Everything fits together well with the drains and stoppers. When I plug the sink drain and fill the sink to wash dishes, water does not leak out until I remove the stopper. Some sinks we compared were only 18-gauge, did not come with drains or stoppers and were far more expensive that this Kraus sink. I think having a sink with the drains made by the same company is a safer bet for a good fit. The same goes for the wire racks--they fit perfectly in the bottom of the sink since they were designed for it! They even included a dish towel with a ring hanger in the box! The only heavier-duty sinks are commercial grade at 16-gauge. Those sinks are very expensive and not needed in a home kitchen. Don't hesitate to buy this sink just because you haven't seen one in person. Since this sink met, or exceeded, our requirements, we took a chance and are very happy with the quality and the value for the price. I'm sure it will be durable for many, many years.

We have yet to install the sink waiting for granite counters to come in. The contractor agrees that it is a good quality 4 $.
Good quality 16 gauge stainless steel sink for the money we paid. Included attachments which saved us about 35.00 to 45.00, if you had to buy seperately. Have never heard of this brand. Shipping was free also saved us money there.
