Noisy can hear the water boil in other room.
The product is noisy. When the water heats you can hear a boiling sound. I replaced one that lasted 10 years. Called support listed in the booklet and they had no clue. Would not buy again.

solved the problem
Product was ordered online for pickup and was there waiting for me when I picked it up so I wasted no time whatsoever. The pipe heater works perfectly on the humidifier tube that empties excess water to the outside. The water in the tube no longer freezes during cold weather that was causing back up water onto my basement floor that I would have to clean up.

I will not buy another one of these products
I am on my fourth one in 10 years and I can't take it anymore. Just as the warranty expires the take leaks and causes a big mess. I've had several different models and thet don't last more than 3-4 years. I thought when I bought the SS model I would get a better product...Wrong!
