poor customer service with manufacturer
1 Star Review   By chris on Home Depot - Jul 2, 2012

After putting the gazebo up, we found on two sides the screening was sewn to the zipper in areas making it impossible to open. Customer service at yotrioint seemed less than interested. I thought there would be an easier solution than taking the whole thing apart and returning it.

Great evening retreat
4 Star Review   By Venti on Home Depot - May 29, 2012

OK, This $200.00 Gazebo ended up costing about $1700. Had to extend the patio with a 12x12 slab, mounting it to concrete is an absolute must. Furniture, wind chimes, lights an area rug and items to many to mention, have made our gazebo a very nice evening retreat. The directions were easy to follow and my son and I had it up in a couple of hours. I have read the other reviews and yes you do get surface rust at the welded joints, nothing a little sand paper and rustoleum won't cure. The canopy IS a little iffy and we are replacing it this year with a heavier grade canopy from Garden Winds, we had the same velcro strap issues as well. I completely disassemble the frame each fall and put it back in the box, Michigan winters can be brutal on the frame, corner stanchions stay together in the corner of the garage. All in all we love this gazebo and have spent many holiday weekend and evenings in it. For the money it is well worth the few minor issues we have had.

Very Poor quality

Bad welds, poorly constructed. fabric didn't fit, tore fabric canopy top trying to stretch it over frame.Looks like I can't take it apart at the end of year without further damage.

Good Value
4 Star Review   By miloafer on Home Depot - May 8, 2012

We had not found anything for this price that we liked as well. It withstood rains and high winds all last summer, and as far as we know, it should be good to go another summer as soon as we take the canopy out of storage and put it back over the frame. Love the looks - looks great on our back patio by the pool. Want to find another for my parents (for a deck).

Complete waste
1 Star Review   By unhappy1 on Home Depot - May 7, 2012

Purchsed this gazebo 2 weeks ago, had a few gusts of wind today so I went out and removed the top. After an hour or so I went back out to check on it and it was on the ground. The frame has completely snapped in three different places where it was welded. I was a little disappointed when we had taken it out of the box and noticed how poorly made the gazebo was in the first place. It is very flimsy. We did have it anchored to the concrete as recommend. Even with a very small gust of wind, it seemed as if it were going to try to take off. If you plan to spend the money on a gazebo, you may want to spend a little more and get something more sturdy.

Great look, poor construction quality
1 Star Review   By BackyardRetreat on Home Depot - May 5, 2012

We purchased one of these about a week ago and had to go back to the store to get replacement parts because the welds on one of the brackets that hold up the canopy broke as soon as I pulled it out box. We got a rain storm with some severe wind that evening and it seemed to hold up well. But, upon closer inspection, it's already begun to rust from just about every weld point that got wet. To top it off, another couple of welds also failed. Preparing to tear down and return it today. This is very disappointing as we really liked the way it looked in the store.

Overall a nice product for the money.
4 Star Review   By none on Home Depot - Apr 25, 2012

I purchased my gazebo at end of season prices and got a steal. I bolted mine thru my deck fully aware that wind would be an issue from time to time and the Chicago market. I'm happy to say I've had no wind related issues at all. the structure although a little flimsy looking, holds up fine. My only issue is the fabric will rot out after about 3 years of sun exposure. (I sprayed with Scotchguard and it seemed to last longer and repel the water well. Each fall I would remove the fabric and store it in my basement and thought I covered all the openings in the metal frame from rain and snow.....but, I didn't do a good enough job. Moisture seeped into the frame rusting it in places and froze in others splitting the metal. I'm purchasing a new one and will take it completely down annually so it last longer. Not a bad item for the cost...considering the next step gazebos are in the $400-$500 range.

Good patio cover
4 Star Review   By IowaMark on Home Depot - Apr 17, 2012

We recently purchased one of these gazebos to make our back patio more usable during rain and hot sunny times. My wife and I were able to put it together in about 2 hours. The only issue I had was one of the rods for the mosquito netting was a hair too long for the distance between corner and middle, but I got it in after some struggle. It looks great and has added a nice feature to our patio. I decided to weight it down with buckets of cement. I got 4 buckets and 2 80lb bags of cement. A half bag in each bucket and an eye bolt in the middle of each for a tie down (for additional security I put a big washer on the bottom of each bolt). There is a short length of high strenght nylon cord attaching each bucket to the corner section of the gazebo. My wife has added dirt and uses each as a planter. During a recent wind event that took down a branch off of one of our trees, the gazebo didn't even budge. Please remember that even though this is a good size piece, it only weighs 80-90 lbs, so it needs attachment or weighting.

Do not buy this!
1 Star Review   By chan on Home Depot - Apr 17, 2012

I bought it less than a year ago, and set it up on my deck. Within 6 months or so, I discovered that some of the welded joints were rusted and started to come apart. And yesterday it was a little windy, and the metal frame simply collapsed due to extensive rusts on almost all the joints. In the mean time, I contacted a local Home depot store for refund or warranty service, but they told me I should contact the manufacturer directly. So I contacted the manufacturer a month ago, and they told me that they would send me replacement parts. But I haven't received anything yet. Now since the whole thing is broken to pieces, even the replacement parts wouldn't fix it. Don't buy it.

BEST Value for what you pay. VERY sturdy...
5 Star Review   By Melanie on Home Depot - Apr 3, 2012

The only problems I would say I had with this product is the direction are misleading some because if you do not put the A & B parts in the correct place, it messes up the entire piece and PLEASE make sure you bolt it down. We have already lost ours to a small wind storm however we are gonna purchase the same one again.

Location, location, location.
5 Star Review   By marmul on Home Depot - Mar 26, 2012

I had to write a review on my Arrow Gazebo that I purchased in April of 2009. I had my reservations about this item but ended up very pleased. The frame was quite flimsy and I certainly had reservations about it while I assembled the gazebo. I secured the base to my patio with concrete screws and it has withstood some significant windstorms here in the western suburbs of Chicago. All I can say is make certain if you buy this (or any other) gazebo that the wind from the west is blocked by your home, if not this gazebo will last you a weekend if you are lucky. I was also able to find a replacement top on a popular online auction site that fit perfectly for $60.00.

Step Missing from Directions!!!!!!!
4 Star Review   By Tricia on Home Depot - Mar 26, 2012

They left out a step. Be sure to put Panel A on the LEFT and Panel B on the RIGHT (check the diagram) when you undertake Step 2. If you don't do this, the holes will not line up when you try to put the top (corner reinforcing) pieces on in Step 3.

10 Ft. X 10 Ft. Arrow Gazebo
4 Star Review   By WillyMac55 on Home Depot - Jul 1, 2010

Very Happy with this purchase. The Gazebo went up easily and withstood 50 mph winds. The only drawback is we noticed was slight rusting on the frame after a couple of weeks.

Not worth the expense or the effort
1 Star Review   By OHDisgusted on Home Depot - Jul 1, 2010

Purchased this gazebo in store on May 3, 2009. Stored in original box in enclosed garage until June 16, 2010. Once up, sat under it once for about an hour. Was NOT sturdy enough!! Went back to Home Depot and purchased 8" rebar to help enforce support. Fastened it down with rebar (two on every leg), a 5# weight on every leg, and tethered in place with 10" tent stakes from the top of each corner. FINALLY!! Looked sturdy ... first storm since installation, winds just starting to pick up (like 20 mph or so), BEFORE the rains started ... framework bending like straws!! Had to disassemble the entire frame (completely bent, unusable, broken apart at the welded seams, ripped from the ground, toppled over ... must've put up a good fight though, since almost every square line now has a bend in it at one point or another. Ironically, the entire canopy and mesh screening survived and looks fine ... just nothing to put it over. Will NEVER get this type of gazebo again without installing into cement and well-grounded ... but, judging from some of the other reviews onsite, might not get it again regardless (canopy seems to have problems anyway).

The holes are drilled wrong, the poles are cut different lengths, the top canopy barely fits without ripping, and it also holds water. It is already up, so it is too late to return it..Wish I had known before.

Great Buy
5 Star Review   By CubanPrincess66 on Home Depot - Jun 26, 2010

I always wanted a gazebo! I purchased this gazebo online and was very happy when I found out the prize and the NO delivery fee since I was buying online!! this was a great perk. I assited my husband in putting it up and it is very easy to assemble, my husband had to do some alterations to one of the sides because it was the wrong one, there were supposed to be 4/4 A & B sides and we received 5/3. But aside from that the Gazebo is a great buy, easy assembly and looks fabulous!!

Charming Gazeebo
5 Star Review   By luvsthesummer on Home Depot - Jun 26, 2010

We purchased this gazeebo about a month ago and we are very pleased with it. My husband and grown son put it together without much trouble and my husband has secured it to our cement patio by the pool. It's large enough for a swing and table and chairs and we use it every evening. The quality is good and it is very attractive. We love it! The free shipping was an added bonus - it's a great deal for the money.

Holding up well
4 Star Review   By okie1700 on Home Depot - Jun 20, 2010

Bought this gazebo about a month ago. Easily put up with only my husband and myself. Bolted the four corners into cement patio. Had 12" flood last week and it held up great! Looks really nice. Planning to take the canvas top off for the winter. Didn't put up the mosquito netting because dogs would have made short work of it. Over all I'm well please with the product and was a fantastic price! If you buy it, you will definitely need to secure it well on a deck or patio. I don't think I'd trust it just on the ground for any length of time.

Not too hapy that we need a new top already.
2 Star Review   By CClark613 on Home Depot - Jun 19, 2010

We loved our new gazebo until this year. Only the 2nd year & We now need to try and locate, purchase & replace the top. We took good care of it we did not leave it out in the winter or very poor weather. The entire top has torn anywhere the Velcro tie down attachments are. Not too sure that we will even be able to purchase a replacement and if we can will it only last 1.5 seasons as well????????????

Arrow Gazeebo 10 by 10
3 Star Review   By EOrtiz on Home Depot - Jun 17, 2010

So after reading many mixed reviews we decided to go with this Gazeebo. This would be are second Gazeebo of the season although not the same product. Our first Gazeebo blew away, ripped right out of the screws 1 week after it was up! So we have had this Arrow Gazeebo for a month now and it has stormed almost everyday with high winds and it is still standing. We have this thing lag bolted to our deck, tied to our deck (descretely) and I paced pavers on the corners with planters on top. (Thanks for all the tips) The only thing is that it is starting to rust so I suggest weather proofing it. We will have to paint and protect it for next year! The canopy is holding up in the winds but is starting to sag from all the rain collecting in 4 corners. We have to go out in the rain and dump it! I would recommend this if you are going to secure it like crazy!!! We have hung usable lights from it and it is very nice to sit out at night. It comes with a lantern but it is for a candle. If you purchase this please secure it!!

Love this product!
5 Star Review   By irini on Home Depot - Jun 13, 2010

We bought the Arrow Gazebo three years ago and love it! It keeps out the bugs (as long as you remember to zip the sides shut!) and provides us with an extra "room" outdoors during the summer months. Each fall we take down the side panels and the canopy. The frame has held up nicely througout several NY winters now. Last summer we noticed the netting was starting to get quite weathered from the sun and usual wear and tear. We patched it up, but tossed it out at the end of the season hoping to replace it this year. We were thrilled to find the replacement netting online at Home Depot and quickly purchased it! Only issue is that the replacement netting does not come with the platic loop/hooks to attach it and we had tossed out the old ones with the old netting. However, we are looking forward to putting it up again to enjoy this summer!

Very nice
5 Star Review   By Lexi2010 on Home Depot - Jun 12, 2010

We purchased the 10 x 10 gazebo last week and we have been using it every since then. I was a little nervous from reading the reviews if i should purchase the gazebo or not. Some buyers felt it was very light weight, not sturdy enough, cheap, difficult to assemble, and caved in when it rained. I have not had near the amount of problems the other readers have had. It took us less than 2hrs to put this gazebo together and that was only because we lost the instructions. The gazebo is light, but we screwed ours in to the deck and it has held up to some very strong winds. After it rained we did have a little water sit on the top of one side, but all you have to do is knock the water off, it's not a big deal (no caving in). and believe it or not we have had several dry meals in the middle of a rainstorm..meaning no we did not get wet. We bought the display model and since it was the last one in the store they knocked fifty bucks off the sale price. So for a 150.00 bucks we have a very nice standing,no bugs, stay dry gazebo. And with any gazebo that has a top like this you will have to take the covers off when it snows. To keep the bugs out we light our centranella candles first and a little while later we close the netting so we are bug free.

Arrow Gazebo
3 Star Review   By sdcop62 on Home Depot - Jun 7, 2010

Overall, we like the product. Looks great in our backyard. Dont know about the wind issues yet. The one problem I had, was the brackets for the top corners that attach to the top canopy were off. I had drill new holes on three of the four brackets. Also, I was missing one of crowns for the four corners was missing...

Arrow Gazebo
4 Star Review   By Audio58 on Home Depot - Jun 6, 2010

I assembled the Gazebo by myself using a ladder, except for a few areas where my girlfriend assisted me. I altered the assembly instructions by putting the complete frame up first then attaching the canopy later. I also drilled 1/4 inch holes in 18 inch by 18 inch patio blocks and bolted them to the holes in the bottom corners of each panel of the gazebo. This gives the gazebo a more secure footing. The gazebos quality is not the best but it is good for the price they charge for it. Insects hide in the mosquito netting when it is attached to the corner panels, this has caused some animals to tear big holes in the netting and bottom fabric on all four of the screen panels in an attempt to get the bugs. This is not a fault of the manufacturer but I will have to replace the mosquito netting sooner than I planned. Overall I feel it will provide shade and bug protection for a couple of years, provided that I take the canopy off in the late fall."

Simple Assembly with great directions!
5 Star Review   By Nick53 on Home Depot - Jun 5, 2010

This Modle Arrow Gazebo 10Ft. X 10Ft. had very clear and concise directions, which made assembly extremely easy. This in turn made my day alittle better. The only thing I would change is the plastic caps above the canvise to the same metal material that the frame is contructed out of. Other than that I give the Arrow Gazebo two Big Thumbs Up!

this gazebo is very nice on our deck. we wanted it so we could sit outside at night and not get eaten by all the bugs. so far so good. it is a bit flimsy and we have some pretty high winds here so we hope it can withstand them. we screwed it into our deck for the most support.

Cupid hit me with his Arrow Gazebo
4 Star Review   By Summertime2010 on Home Depot - Jun 2, 2010

I purchased my Arrow Gazebo two summers ago and have been enjoying it ever since. Not only has it provided shade for my family and friends but it has given us a place to spend time together. It fits my patio perfectly and the design and structural layout provides both the openness to enjoy a summers day as well as the privacy comfort of an enclosed patio.

Gazebo
3 Star Review   By PAbigfoot on Home Depot - May 31, 2010

I just completed erecting the Gazebo. It was fairly easy to erect. I could do almost all of it by myself with a ladder. I did need some help for a couple places. I altered the assembly instructions by putting the top frame up without the top or the venting top, then put them on with the frame only attached in two places. From a quality standpoint I am not sure how long the top will last. It doesn't seem as heavy duty as the one on a previous gazebo I had. (Lost that one from heavy snow last December.) Also, I don't know how easy it will be to get the top off for the winter. I am sure the whole thing will collapse if any significant snow accumulates on the top. Overall though it will provide shade and should last a couple of years, maybe more, provided I can take the top down in the late fall.

Great for the patio
4 Star Review   By summermama on Home Depot - May 30, 2010

We set ours up on our patio, since it's uncovered. So far I really like it! It offers shade, and netting to keep the bugs away. Plus it's really attractive. It's not exactly rain-proof though, so don't expect to stay dry under it during heavy rain. My husband set it up by himself in about 3 hours.

ARROW GAZEBO
5 Star Review   By ANITA1224 on Home Depot - May 30, 2010

We love our new gazebo. It was easy to set up and looks great on our deck. It took about 2 hours to get it all together, but it was very straightforward. I love the corner shelves and the overall design.

Poor Design
1 Star Review   By packers4 on Home Depot - May 29, 2010

Poor design results in rain water buildup at roof edges. Gromlets designed to drain water appear to be in the wrong location. We have roof fabric sagging from water buildup in 8 locations after 3-months of use!

Gazebo
5 Star Review   By Styxiv on Home Depot - May 29, 2010

Very good item. Very good quality for the price. Was easier to put together then I expected. Cover is of good quality. I've seen others out there that cost the same BUT you have to purchase the webbing separate and this one comes with it. I would highly recommend this product.

So far, so good
5 Star Review   By JennaE on Home Depot - May 29, 2010

I searched for a long time for a new gazebo, and read many many reviews. I saw this gazebo in the store and loved the look of it, and even though there were quite a few bad reviews, I bought it. It is such a beautiful gazebo! I have only had it up for 3 days so far, so it hasn't been tested against any strong winds yet, but we have it anchored so well I don't think it could move if it wanted to! As stated in the title, so far, so good.

Nice Look but Flimsy
3 Star Review   By mlove on Home Depot - May 28, 2010

If you are looking for a nice appearance this gazebo is it BUT I saw this Gazebo in store and thought it was really nice, bought it, but when I opened the box it was very weak. The appearance is really nice but not very sturdy. One of the panels were broken and had to call manufacturer to order another piece, what a headache. Buyers beware.

5 Star Review   By Nivazinha on Home Depot - May 25, 2010

I love the quality of the product it is rust-resistant steel framing, powder-coated finish. Weather-resistant polyester fabric, mosquito netting included Candle lantern and chain included, 4 corner shelves included. All of that for a very affordable price. I couldn't believe it! We love the product, but looks like that a lot more people love it too, because we want to buy it, but we cannot find it anywhere!!! And that's our second year trying to buy it. This year we looked for it as soon as it arrived and it was already gone!!!

This is junk. It was only up a few months and the top canopy tore where the velcro is sewn on. The side panels rusted and some of the welds broke. We had it secured to the deck the proper way and no one abused it in any way. It is not worth the money. Spend more and get a better gazebo. This one did not even last for the season.

4 Star Review   By mikel80911 on Home Depot - May 19, 2010

The gazebo itself is great. Be aware of your climate as high winds could be a problem. However, I was able to secure it to my deck and now we are enjoying it daily.

4 Star Review   By eileen111 on Home Depot - May 19, 2010

Gazebo was easy to put together and had all the necessary parts. It looks attractive. Our site is very windy and the wind loosens the screws that hold it together so we bought locking washers and lag bolted it to our deck. That seems to be working fine.

Arrow Gazebo
3 Star Review   By idda on Home Depot - May 17, 2010

I really like the Gazebo. My main complaint is the top fabric. It doesn't last long and with a one year warranty, that is not acceptable. One little tear and the top is useless. It can't be repaired.

3 Star Review   By washingtonj on Home Depot - May 17, 2010

Though I like this product, I found difficulty with defective parts. I had one part that was off center with the holes and could not be lined up properly to secure the item. In the end because it was at the top we had to tape it down in place to secure it. We did not want to ruin the item. Otherwise the whole thing went up fine with no problems other than that one corner at the top.

Gazebo
4 Star Review   By myplace on Home Depot - May 16, 2010

I am very happy with this purchase. It went together as indicated in the instructions. Nothing to have to guess about what they were saying. The Gazebo looks very nice. Already went through 1 heavy rainstirm (1.6 in. in about 3 hrs) with high winds and did not have any issues. I had another one this one replaced and would have to go drain the canopy when we had rain. This is a good purchase for the bucks.

I needed something to give me shade and protect from bugs at night. This is perfect. No it is not a permanent structure. It is an inexpensive alternative that fits the bill perfectly. We hod it up for Mother's day and it was wonderful. I love it.

Much better product than some of the reviews say.
4 Star Review   Home Depot

This gazebo has been as great purchase so far. After reading the reviews I was concerned about how well it would stand up to wind and so far it has done great. It took about 2 hours to put it together. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We anchored the gazebo directly to our deck using deck screws which seems to hold it down very well. The weekend after we put it up we had 3 days of wind gusts between 45 and 50 mph. A little bit of wobbling but no broken or bent parts. I would say the key to having the gazebo make it through the wind is to have the netting open. We have 2 of our panels completely unzipped and other than them blowing in the wind there have been no problems. So in my opinion, make sure you anchor the gazebo well and keep the panels open and it will be great.

dissapointed and heart-broken...
2 Star Review   By Upset78252 on Home Depot - May 13, 2010

It took 2 of us about 3 hours to build it,the top was especially hard we followed all the directions exactly as in the manual but there were many pieces that didn't quite match up,still we made it work and we were so proud of what we had built. that was like 4 weeks ago... last night it was windy it didn't rain just wind, and this morning found our beautiful gazebo all mangled, very heart-breaking. it is bent beyond repair,it was properly anchored, and the curtains were tied up to let the wind flow thru but still its a mangled mess this morning.. we are very dissapointed that it didn't last longer than a month,a waste of money and so much heart ache, makes me never want to go back in the backyard :(. would not reccomend this to a friend or family member..looks great once you can get it up,misaligned screw holes and all....

Difficult to put up with just 2 people.
3 Star Review   By Cindyg1 on Home Depot - May 10, 2010

A beautiful gazebo but difficult to put up with just 2 people. The top of the gazebo is not user friendly and will require practically dismantling the entire thing to take down the awnings. It looks very nice and elegant on our deck once we put the whole thing together, but it took 2 of us about 3 hours to assemble.

Excellent Gazebo
5 Star Review   By PlainJane on Home Depot - May 8, 2010

We purchased this gazebo in 2006 on sale at the end of the season. We screwed the frame to our deck and it lasted four seasons and would have lasted much longer except that we did not remove the fabric and the weight of heavy snow destroyed the frame. I think we could have had one more season as the fabric was looking a little thin after four years in the sun. Just purchased our second one and cannot wait for arrival!

Nice gazebo for the price
4 Star Review   By Jeff45678 on Home Depot - May 5, 2010

We bought this gazebo 3 years ago around Memorial day. It got a lot of use the first summer. We used ropes and stakes to keep it secure in the wind. We took it down (frame and all) in October for the first winter. The second summer we had some 100+ mile/hour straight line winds in July that knocked it down. A few of the pieces on the frame bent (not too bad), but we were able to bend them back pretty good. We also drilled holes in the patio and screwed it down after that. This worked great. We did have an issue with one of the zippers on the netting (getting stuck) on that second summer. The second winter we just took the canopy and netting down (left the frame). By the end of the 3rd summer, the canopy was getting pretty sun rotted and 2 of the 4 zippers stopped working on the netting. We ended up leaving it set up all winter. The snow was too much for it. In the process of knocking off the snow, the canopy ripped. The frame is a little rusty, but not in that bad of shape. We're now getting ready for the summer of 2010 and are happy to say that we'll be buying the same model. Nice product for the price!

Not buildable as purchased.
2 Star Review   By bailey454 on Home Depot - May 3, 2010

The previous owner of my house put a gazebo in the backyard for their spa, and by the time I moved in, the top was ripped and sun-damaged. After some research, I was pretty sure this was the exact same style. I was not completely positive, so rather than buy a new top and mosquito net, I decided to spend the extra $40 and get the whole frame as well. WOW... 4 of the metal pieces were badly bent, broken, or otherwise un-usable. The centerpiece for the top was completely bent over on itself. One of the frame pieces had snapped at the weld. A vertical post had split open down a seam. Of the 4 pieces that hold the top onto the frame, my gazebo only shipped with two, and even though 48 rings were required to hold on the mosquito net, mine only shipped with 42..? The mosquito net had several holes that I will need to patch. If not for being able to re-use most of the existing pieces I had from the previous gazebo, I COULD NOT HAVE BUILT THE ENTIRE STRUCTURE WITH THE PARTS IN THE KIT. The top would not have stayed on, the centerpiece and frame would have been incomplete, and I could not have hung the netting. Even though it now looks pretty nice in the back yard, it should not take two kits to build one gazebo.

Blown by El Nino...
3 Star Review   By Alliebythebay on Home Depot - May 2, 2010

Although, this product is priced very competitively, but it has its downsides. First wind storm, it toppled over and many of the framing bent, plus canopy ripped in several areas. I went online to replace the canopy which cost me $75.00. It must have been my wishful thinking, but I thought the drapes were inclusive with the order. NOT! By the third wind storm that Los Angeles County encountered, the metal framing cracked and broke off. Now, my gazebo is not repairable. Great price and value. Takes two people to assemble the unit. This gazebo will only hold in nice weather, forget about the wind and the rain unless you want it to end up in the garbage. Word of advise, take the gazebo down prior to the storms. But who has the time and the energy to do that?! Alliebythebay

Arrow Gazebo...average
3 Star Review   By Hek8209 on Home Depot - Apr 7, 2010

I purchased this gazebo for use on my back deck which gets sun pretty much all day long. I assembled it by myself, which took 4.5 hours. I ran out of daylight, and planned on securing it the next day. However, the very next morning, there was a rain storm with high winds. The gazebo nearly blew away. After securing it to the deck with tie down straps and zip ties, it appeared to hold up fairly well. I recommend securing it to the deck with more than just regular screws. I will be purchasing heavy duty screws and may continue to use one or more of the straps for added protection against wind. It blocks the sun really well and looks nice. I would not recommend this (or any other regular gazebo) for areas known to have extremely high winds.

Arrow Gazebo 10X10 Sku# - 625683
3 Star Review   By rbc1 on Home Depot - Mar 28, 2010

Average product for wear. The original canopy had a problem with the canopy dimensions not fitting the metal frame. The canopy was a few inches too short. However, once up, it lasted over 31/2-years in the Arizona sun. The replacement canopy fit perfectly to the frame, but only lasted 1-year in the sun before the netting started disintegrating. I'll be replacing it again before summer. Apparently the UV resistance of the material varies from time to time. I don't think there is any other type of cloth fabric canopy being offered that is going to hold up any better under the Arizona sun.

This gazebo held up to many windstorms and and the frame to many winters. Not too hard to assemble and only have to remove canvas each winter to enjoy for years. Just remember to take the canvas roof off BEFORE the 1st wet snow. I forgot to get it down in the fall one year and we had an early heavy wet snow storm. The weight of the snow collapsed it. I am now purchasing another!

2 Star Review   By Boats32 on Home Depot - Feb 9, 2010

We bought this Gazebo because we really liked the style and the size was perfect to fit over our hot tub. We live in coastal Virginia and we can sometime get strong wind gust. We secured it to our deck with screws so it would not fly away. It worked great for about 2 months. Then the material started to tear around the edges - every where the velcro was attached. We went to the sporting goods store and purchased a tent repair kit -(patches) and this worked for a few more months. After that the frame started rustin and breaking apart. The first good Noreaster we had was the last time we had this Gazebo. The wind tore it to pieces. It is a nice looking, poorly built Gazebo. Save your money and find a better one..................

Poor Quality Canopy

I bought this Arrow gazebo about 9 months ago and the canopy did not last 6 months after purchase. The frame is excellent but I cannot find a replacement canopy for this gazebo. I would not recommend this product since the canopy is of poor quality and you will not be able to replace it.

horrible waste of money
1 Star Review   By bill167 on Home Depot - Feb 6, 2010

I purchased one of these to go over my hot tub. First of all after about a month it began to tear around the edges where the velcro attached to the top rods. then the material began to sag on the top (holding water). Well, to end it all we had snow and it built up on the top and it totally challapsed. And we went through the extra mile to pour concrete footer to attach the four corners so it would not come down. They only send stakes to secure it to the ground (that is a joke). The tin aluminum that it is constructed of is to weak to hold it up. VERY SORRY PRODUCT!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS. You would be better off to build one from real wood!!!!! So, I guess the best thing I can say is stay away from any of the gazebo because they all are made of cheep materials.. Guess I have learned my lesson on this purchase that I have to eat.

Arrow Gazebo
3 Star Review   By Claude91098 on Home Depot - Jan 24, 2010

Purchased to replace an older gazebo over our spa. Assembly took a few hours by myself. Overall, a good gazebo. The enclosed warranty specifically stated it was NOT warranted for "weather". It was accurate. 4 Days ago we had a strong storm, wind gusts to 60 mph. The gazebo was securely screwed to our deck, yet the wind destroyed it. It "seemed" a little flimsey but held up to lower winds just fine. However, it will bend/break if subjected to higher winds in thunderstorms. We are shopping for a sturdier gazebo but may end up buying another like this since it was a nice one. I will take measures to reinforce the next one. We live in N. Florida and thunderstorms with high winds are a part of life here.

3 Star Review   By BrookeTN on Home Depot - Jan 22, 2010

I have a very sunny and very windy back yard. I bought this last April 2009 and it is now January 2010. The canopy is starting to tear. The metal has rust dripping and staining it. Overall it is nice and does the job intended. I would say if you need something decent for a couple of seasons this will be fine. Keep in mind it will have to be fastened to something or it will blow over in even a slight wind.

We bought this product in April 2009. It took 2 of us 2-3 hours to put up. The directions are very easy to follow. We have not had ANY rust or wind damage and we get plenty of rain and wind. The gazebo has withstood wind gusts up to 40 mph with NO problem. We have it screwed to the deck and to the house in 2 places. We are very happy with the gazebo. It allows us to spend more time outside without having to worry about the mesquitos. We definitely would recommend it.

WILL NOT LAST
1 Star Review   By Disappointed2229 on Home Depot - Sep 11, 2009

We bought this in May of 2008. It was great for the first few months...good size, did a decent job of keeping out mosquitos...but soon we had holes to replace in the canvas. This has been a continuous problem, but not nearly as bad as the rust that started to form on the 'iron'. After just 8 months of ownership rust started to form. In May 2009 pieces started to break off. In August 2009 it completely bent and now will not hold up...it has sustained damage that cannot be fixed. DO NOT waste your money on this, please. I really wish we would have just spent a little extra money for something that would have lasted years and not just one.

For the price, was an excellent buy. We put together and secured it to our deck, the only reason it was destroyed is because a tree fell on it, was still able to salvage the netting. The only complaint I would have is that I can not find one for the same price I paid for the first one.

1 Star Review   By Nana22222 on Home Depot - Aug 22, 2009

This gazebo was given to me on Mother's Day and assembled the next weekend. It took 4 people and about 2-3 hours to assemble it. Every rain it collected pockets of rain and our first storm with mild winds 20-25 mph with gusts to 30-35 it tore 2-6 inches slits at each and every place the velcro straps were holding the roof fabric to the frame. The only reason the gazebo didn't fall over is because it was bolted to a wooden deck. It twisted evry which way and within 3 weeks of putting it up it started to rust at all the seams of the frame.

Bungee Cords Saved This Gazebo
4 Star Review   By TGal on Home Depot - Jul 31, 2009

I watched in absolute horror as this gazebo rocked wildly back and forth in 65 mph winds yesterday morning here in TX during an extended thunderstorm. But it held..and I'll tell you why. We have the gazebo attached to the house (at the top AND bottom) with several bungee cords (the kind with big hooks on the ends) and that has worked for us. Otherwise, I'm sure it would've been toast months ago. For the price, I do really like this thing, though. It is very pretty and I love the corner plant shelves. So, do a good job of attaching it to something solid in a balanced manner and it will probably do ok for you.

Very good product for the price
4 Star Review   By Bill1948 on Home Depot - Jul 15, 2009

I was impressed with the design of this gazebo. After reading the instructions, which most of us do not, it went together very easily. We had the gazebo up in about 45 minutes. As I live in an area that is doomed for gusts of high winds I was sure to anchor each corner to the deck. As an extra precaution I added one additional screw to each corner. One of our wind storms hit gusts of 80 mph and it came through with flying colors. I am very satisfied and glad I purchased this gazebo.

cheap and flimsy
1 Star Review   By boschtech on Home Depot - Jul 1, 2009

I bought this a month ago and it was nice but the wind is not its friend. When I was assembling it I kind of figured that it wouldn't last long. Also, when you get rains you get water pockets on each side of the roof. A hole is there to provide drainage but its not close enough to the edge. My wife was wanting me to buy another one but after seeing the same reviews with the wind problem I probably won't.

Not for Oklahoma Weather
1 Star Review   By Greenhandler on Home Depot - Jun 17, 2009

I was able to enjoy this gazebo for exactly 3 days this summer. It was not too difficult to assembly except for the top structure. The netting was great about keeping the buffalo knats out. But, the structure is so flimsey it could not withstand the wind that we have in Oklahoma. Needles to say, I no longer have the gazebo. And of course it will not be replaced, because it specfically states "will not withstand increment weather".Why would someone sell a product that would not withstand Oklahoma weather?

Don't waste your money.
1 Star Review   By AlexG on Home Depot - Jun 9, 2009

I bought one like this a couple of years ago. Due to strong winds it blew down and broke. I should have taken off the fabric!!! So I purchased another one last month. When I took it out of the box I immediately notice how cheaply it was made. The material it is made of is light weight and flimsy. The one I bought a couple of years ago was a lot more sturdy than this one. The parts felt a lot stronger. I just set it up this past weekend and I'm not too sure how well this one will hold up. I don't think it's going to last this summer. Over all this product on a scale of 0 to 10, it would be a ZERO. Home depot should sell it for $75.00, at least I wouldn't feel so bad.

Gazebo
1 Star Review   By JakeMan88 on Home Depot - May 31, 2009

It was easy to install, however it started to rust within 8 months. The paint on the rails will flake off and then it will start to rust and stain the canopy to the color of the metal. Second, it will tear at all the points that they have sewn in the velcro straps. Light wind will tear them, to the point that they can't be used as a cover. Recommendation, at the points of the velcro, attach a more ridgid piece of material in order to secure it better to the top. Reenforcing it at those points, would make this a better product. Finally, after spending $200.00 for this, I will have to find another way to create the azebo that I built my deck for.

This Gaezebo is not worth a dime
1 Star Review   By sq80vette on Home Depot - May 27, 2009

I live in Pgh PA and purchased this product to put over my hot tub. It was easy to install, however even though I had it secured, the first strong storm ripped the top and the sides of the cloth. Also the frame severly rusted after the second summer so bad that the top rails rusted all the way through and collapsed. Not worth it at all. Don't waste your money

ARROW GAZEBO
5 Star Review   By KPS111 on Home Depot - May 27, 2009

I put this gazebo up last July 4th and have been enjoying it ever since, easy set-up (2 people), bolted it to the deck, yes it does show some rust, but that's what they make rustoleum for. We take the canvas tops off in the winter and put back on in the spring. Have recommended it to friends, and for the price I would buy another if I needed to.

1 Star Review   By ChuckD on Home Depot - May 26, 2009

The first heavy wind this thing broke into pieces, The top ripped. It lasted 3 months. I was able to fix the frame with brackets I made but I cant find the top anywhere. Just remember that good things arent cheap and cheap things arent good. Waisted 200 bucks.

A good deal for the price
5 Star Review   By Jasnic on Home Depot - May 23, 2009

I bought this gazebo over three years ago...I live in Florida and it's been up all year round since I put it up, I have it anchored with nylon tie-down cords and it's been fine. When we have hurricane warnings or high wind warnings I take the canvas off, for obvious reasons, but the frame has remained stable. The only drawback is, after three years in the hot sun the canvas is worn out and I've not been able to replace it. I hate to waste a perfectly good frame, but for the price, you can't go wrong and I will probably purchase a new one just like it. Just put it together right and anchor it down securely, like you would any tent or awning, Don't blame the product if you don't follow the directions.

Not worth buying!
1 Star Review   By Mist on Home Depot - May 21, 2009

I bought this Arrow gazebo about 2 years ago and have been having trouble trying to replace the canopy for this gazebo. The frame is ok but the canopy did not last 1 year after purchase and it is impossible to find a replacement for the frame. The stores sell the whole gazebo but do not sell the replacement parts. I believe this was set up this way to make the customer have to buy a brand new gazebo. It would be nice to be able to replace the canopy. I still have the frame but no canopy. I suggest that you do not buy this product since you will not be able to replace anything.

5 Star Review   By hayjones on Home Depot - May 18, 2009

I bought this gazebo over 3 years ago and it is still going strong! I use it for my booth at arts & crafts shows all over Texas...so it is taken apart and put back together almost every weekend. It has been rained on and hit with wind, however I have never had a problem with is sturdiness. I am actually buying another one this year as my business is expanding! I get compliments on my gazebo all the time!!

Worse Gazebo Ever
1 Star Review   By McDonald0223 on Home Depot - May 14, 2009

We purchased this gazebo to use for our housewarming at our new home. After a breeze it fell over and the support bar ( that was welded ) broke. My husband put the gazebo back up and ankered it to the ground using the spikes that came with it alone with four concrete slabs. The next day it blew over again this time the top pulled completly off! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!! We don't have many trees in our yard that can be used for shade and now we have to find some other means of making our guest comfortable while they are outdoors. If you live in a place that has no breeze, wind or butterfly effects, this product is for you. For the rest of us who don't live in a jar...don't bother!

Good inexpensive addition to the yard
4 Star Review   By mlb1052 on Home Depot - May 9, 2009

We put the gazebo up about a month ago in a rainstorm, other than a bit of rust that comes out of the center of the framing (it is not rustproofed throughout) all is well. We have had some 25-30 mph winds over the past 2 weeks off and on, and I feared the worst after reading the reviews before I took a chance on buying this myself, since the back of my home is exposed directly to the wind with no trees to break the wind down. I guess it all depends on how well you secure it to the surface, and how well you put it together, tighten all the screws firmly, etc. We have ours attached to a wooden deck, that sits 12 feet off the ground, with 2 inch drywall screws as anchors, and I drilled 2 additional holes on each point the frame meets the deck, a total of 4. You should do this, since it only has 2 small holes to place the small anchor pins into the ground. (If I were attaching this to a grass area, I would purchase longer stakes to hold it firmly in the ground) Screwed into the deck, it holds firm, no problems. No holes in the fabric or netting, and no broken welds. After constant exposure to the wind, I worried, but it held up well. Christmas lights attached as party lights hold well, look nice! also it does not leak as much as the customers say it does. Simply waterproof your lights, and black tape the outlet. Do not operate them wet. I would reccommend it for an alternative to a retractable awning, (which is 600 plus or more) and the flower holders are nice for plants, 1 in each corner, like a shelf, plus they re-inforce the structure. Good buy, do not be discouraged by the negative remarks, like I was initially. Just assemble it according to the directions, and do not modify it much, and it will be a good purchase for the money.
