We loved the color of this product prior to buying it and we were not disappointed when we received it. Only downside was no samples at the local Home Depot so we took a chance and absolutely love it.

Looks Fabulous installed!
5 Star Review   By momofthree3 on Home Depot - Jun 6, 2013

We have three young kids and several cats so we picked this flooring due to it's reputation for durability. We previously had carpet so we pulled that and the pad up so we could install on the plywood floor boards. Install is super easy. We had our room finished in several hours. Works best if you have two people working together, but could be done alone. Super durable and super attractive, what else could you want in a floor. Don't be afraid of the pattern just looking at the one plank in the store, it looks wonderful installed.

Easy installation, looks great, scratches too easily
4 Star Review   By HomoNer on Home Depot - Jun 4, 2013

I installed 30 boxes in previously-carpeted rooms on plywood floors. I did not want to remove and reinstall all my baseboard trim, so I put down 3/8" plywood everywhere to build up the floor (since the gap below the trim was about 1/2" for the carpet and the pad and the Allure is only about 1/8" thick). The Allure installs very easily. I am a DIY homeowner. I installed Pergo in my previous home, but otherwise had no flooring experience. To cut the Allure, you score it with a knife and a straight edge, then you snap it. I think I used the same utility knife blade for the entire project. About halfway through, I started using my table saw for ripping and my chop saw as well, just to save time. The only gotcha there is to try to keep the sawdust off of the adhesive strips. Along the way, I realized it is basically just linoleum in planks, but it does look good. You do not need any padding (or anything else) between the plywood and the Allure. It is waterproof and that was a key feature for me. It feels nice under-foot. It has a texture similar to real wood, but not so deep that dirt gets trapped in recesses. Regarding the baseboard trim, they will tell you that you'll need to install some quarter-round trim afterwards. The planks are pretty flexible and I was able to bow the last piece in each row to get it under the existing trim about 1/8" when I installed it. So, all my edges went underneath the existing trim with no gaps and quarter-round was not needed, but I wouldn't say that everyone will have the same luck I did. My only gripe so far, after having it installed about 6 weeks, is that it seems to scratch easily. I have some long scratches and I can't even imagine what caused them. We have several cats and a dog, but the scratches are more like something was drug (dragged?). I have several kids, so it is quite possible someone did something which most adults would know not to do on a vinyl floor. I would definitely use the Allure product again.

Amazing Appearance
5 Star Review   By DolfTownCondo on Home Depot - May 14, 2013

I've just used this for a complete condo remodel, 2 bed 2 bath, around 1,000 sq. ft. Previously there was a combination of carpet in the bedrooms, laminate in the living, and tile in the kitchen and bathrooms - all very disconnected and jumbly. Using the same floor throughout makes my new place look enormous; and, of course, it is fine for bathrooms and kitchens where there may be water spillage. The cost, the ease of installation (my contractor had this stage completed in maybe a two-day period), the (so far) ease of maintenance, all make this a product I am already recommending to my friends and new neighbors..... but it is the Sheer Beauty of Appearance that is so amazing! I ended up spending around 10% of my overall remodelling budget on this floor, but the impact it has had on the final result far outweighs the relative financial input.

Installation was a snap and it looks great!
5 Star Review   By Archeodigger on Home Depot - Apr 30, 2013

This is probably the easiest flooring Iv'e ever installed over the years. With it's adhesive tab system, this floor flew together. Trimming excess was simple with the surface only needing to be scored enough to bend and snap off. And the final result looks as professional as Iv'e ever seen. re-positioning the material even if you didn't get the fit snug the first time was very forgiving and still retained it's adhesive quality. The simulated wood pattern was excellent, fooling many a friend and family member into thinking it was the real deal! It also had wonderful grain texturing as does not create a slippery surface. The only issue we noticed with this particular pattern was the off gassing when exposed to direct sunlight. We installed a simulated slate tile pattern elsewhere in the house and didn't encounter this issue with it. Other than this, I would give the product a 2 thumbs up!

LOOKS LIKE REAL WOOD!
5 Star Review   By Heather on Home Depot - Apr 16, 2013

We just installed this in our entryway. It is beautiful! Our floor is uneven and you can't even tell. It was easy to do. My husband and I did 334 sq feet in 9 hours. We are planning on putting it in a few more rooms. We live on a ranch and lots of pets, so durability was a huge selling point. Don't hesitate to use this floor!

5 Star Review   By TheDIYer on Home Depot - Apr 9, 2013

We really love our new flooring. Looks great, easy installation, very durable & easy to clean thus far. Everyone that has seen it, raves about how great it looks. If you're a "first timer", I suggest watching some how to clips. Also, make sure you have all of the tools you'll need, before you start. (Tape measure, square, knife with extra blades, cutting surface, and a mitre saw if you have door facing that's flush with the subflooring, like us...)

LOVE this flooring
4 Star Review   By AWilson on Home Depot - Mar 27, 2013

It took us some time to find just the right flooring to cover our kitchen, dining room, and living room. We kept going back to this pattern because it was different, unique, and just seemed like the right fit. We decided we loved this enough and purchased it over the phone. The CSR was amazing. The flooring was flexible and easy to put down. The biggest things we had to remember were: 1. The flooring needs to stick as close together as humanly possible. 2. It is important to purchase a 100# roller to secure the flooring into place. 3. The flooring is water resistant and was well tested by our children 4. The flooring will show scuffs, so felt pieces under furniture are important. 5. This color is amazing, but will show dirt more. Dust mops rock. 6. The flooring is quieter than hardwood

Looks Great.... but ........................
2 Star Review   By Boonie on Home Depot - Mar 19, 2013

While this product looks wonderful on the floor; the first time I had Guests for Dinner; my Son-In-Law went to fold up a high chair and it scratched the surfaces in multiple areas; even leaving a white line right thru the woodgrain look of the flooring. All that work to install and now I have a scratched floor. Not sure if this can be lifted and replaced.

5 Star Review   By PattyF on Home Depot - Mar 9, 2013

we purchased 46 boxes to do alot of floor, most of the floor in the house. It took 2 solid days to do about 3/4 of our project (still got more to do) Its gorgeous. I have OCD so I tried to somewhat line up patterns in the floor which was frustrating but once I let go of that it was fine and it came out beautiful. My suggestions, make sure your floors are level. We have an older house so we can feel some imperfections in the floor in some places. Take your time!! Thats a biggie. If you rush you won't be able to get the joints exact and you want that. You don't have alot of play time to remove and relay. Once its down for a time...it will be difficult to fix. However, even real hardwoods aren't perfect. Yes after a couple weeks there are some scuffs but they mostly buff out, but thats operator error not flooring problems. Its resilient flooring not magic flooring. You have to protect it like you would any other. Don't slide furniture across it, etc. But we have 6 dogs so...all in all it looks great. Can't wait to get the rest of it down. A friend recommended it. He has it in his house for a year now and it looks great.

My husband and myself laid this flooring in our dinning room. Was a bit tricky to start but once we got going it was a breeze
5 Star Review   By Camino on Home Depot - Mar 5, 2013

We started it next to carpet so we had to do a bit of thinking on how to go about it that way. It was tricky but we figured it out! Once we got going we got into a rhythm and it was a breeze! I love how it looks like real wood. Its very durable too. We have a bulldog and a 19 month old son and it's holding up like a champ! We let it come to room temperature for about 30 hrs before we installed it. Every now and then I can smell it but I think its because im pregnant and my senses are on high alert! So far we are satisfied with it and we are thinking about putting it in our master bedroom!

Very Nice Looking Floor!
5 Star Review   By kate on Home Depot - Feb 18, 2013

I and a female owner of a small condo. My kitchen/livingroom floor and connecting bathroom floor needed to be replaced. I wanted a hardwood look, but I thought hardwoods would be impractical for the area. I installed this floor myself; it was so easy. My friends are amazed! It is just really very nice looking. Lay the floor in a random pattern, according to the directions. I could not be happier ;D

5 Star Review   By Rosebud on Home Depot - Feb 12, 2013

My husband and I installed this flooring in our living room after we tore up some nasty carpet. We completed this project in about four hours and were very pleased with the professional look of the job because it was so easy to install. We can't say enough nice things about this floor other than we want to do our whole house. It is very resilent, easy to clean with just water and a mop and does not scratch no matter how much the dogs run on it.

Looks great, but not as easy as it sounds to install
4 Star Review   By LN74 on Home Depot - Nov 20, 2012

We got this to put in our entry way and a bedroom. It looks great. I love the contrast in colors. The time it took to install was quick, but was very hard on the hands. It is also difficult to get the edges to line up perfectly as the glue catches and you have to push hard to move it, or take it apart and replace it again. Once it is done though, it is super easy to clean and looks great. I was expecting it to be a flat, smooth surface and was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't. I think it gives it more character with a few ripples like wood grain. I will and have recommended this product to others.

Took up some old sheet goods, cleaned the sub-floor, started at the longest wall and install, went quite fast, with a couple of breaks finished the 12x15 foot room in a day. Seams seem to be wanting to lift, have pushed them down again, will have to see if this happens again. In all look great, the wife is happy.

I just purchase the product several weeks ago for my kitchen and so far I am please with it once I got the hang of the starting point on the floor, I did have some problem as far as the pieces that had to to be cut to go around my cabinet area and door way which took a little time. Other than that it's great.

I do however wish there was better directions for install. I found myself using double sided tape and spray glue in order for it to stick to the floor properly.

Great for our needs, Looks good.
4 Star Review   By Hayman on Home Depot - Sep 11, 2012

My wife and I wanted to replace our old carpet with vinyl planking and after 18 months of shopping found this product at HD. I have been in construction management for 15+ years and have seen (and done ) it all. We love the look and the feel. Floor prep is the key! Heat gun is a must, Floor roller if you have no-one to "walk the seams" once down. Only thing I would like to see is a matching transition finishes. If you have dogs that like the water and mud you will LOVE this flooring, better then "lock type" water mud sits on top and you don't have to run for the mop. No reason a DIY'er could not do! But again floor prep is the key. Installed 480sqft in 8hrs with a-lot of cut-around.

Superior product for all areas of the home
5 Star Review   By almasgma on Home Depot - Sep 4, 2012

While trying to stay within a budget we had installed an inexpensive laminate flooring in a few areas of our home and found that it simply did not hold up as well as we had hoped. Then the water line under the concrete floor broke and flooded the living room and kitchen and we were forced to replace the laminate. I wanted the look of wood but didn't want any more disasters like the water line so I began searching on my favorite DIY website, Home Depot. I found this beautiful vinyl plank flooring for a truly reasonable price and read the specs regarding wear and installation. I was immediately sold. The installation is no more difficult that the peel and stick vinyl squares, just a little different process for laying out the pattern. Sharp cutting tools, a t-square, wax marking crayon and a little patience were all that we needed to get a beautiful result. I tell all my friends about this product and highly recommend it for all skill levels from beginner to professional. We loved it so much that the original kitchen floor replacement became a whole house do-over and we now have the planking throughout.

TrafficMaster Allure 6 in. x 36 in. African Wood Dark Resilient Vinyl Plank Flooring
2 Star Review   By Somanyroads on Home Depot - Aug 15, 2012

We ordered and bought this product for the good looks and durability. It installed easily as the directions indicated. However buyer beware! The flooring still smells after 4 months. I get up every morning and open the windows in the room, in which it is installed. It has a strong vinyl smell to it. I'm hoping it will go away over time? But so far it has not! .I can't imagine what it will be like in the winter when the windows are all closed?

1 Star Review   By twotonetommy on Home Depot - Jul 17, 2012

quality of product is on the low end. It moves and shrinks a lot with temperature swings. Have a lot of gaps showing when shrinks. The sticky backing does not hold well. Scratches REAL easy and looks bad. Would spend the money and get something better next time. I did 5 houses with this at the same time and now regret using it. Looks great the first week then all down hill.

Nice flooring
4 Star Review   By diygirl on Home Depot - Jul 16, 2012

I was a bit hesitant about installing this flooring in my living room because I was concerned that it would be too busy or difficult to decorate around but it looks really nice. Once I got the hang of it and with a bit of elbow grease and help from my daughter, it was pretty easy to install. My friends have been amazed that I installed it myself (being I am a woman). I have cats and a dog and so far no scuffing like some reviewers have mentioned, although I was very careful when I put my furniture back in place, just in case. Happy so far.

Absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!!!
5 Star Review   By mdh49 on Home Depot - Jun 26, 2012

This will be the second time I have installed a Trafficmaster Allure floor. The first was about three years ago for my parents. My parents are very hard on their floors: they have indoor animals and lots of people coming and going with dirt and grit on their shoes all the time. The fact that they have been unable to damage their Allure floor is the reason I decided to get it for myself. The one thing that I don't like about my parents floor is that they got it in a plain oak color. If you're going to purchase a product like this, why not get it in a cool color pattern?? My wife an I decided on the African dark wood color after seeing both the online pictures and the samples squares at the Home Depot store. I have to say that the sample squares do not do the color justice. I was a bit apprehensive about the color at first, but my wife insisted on it (I'm glad she did). I was also a little concerned about a previous review that claimed that the color contrast between the light and dark sections makes a long floor look "ridiculously fake and your eye is drawn right to that area immediately because it is so odd looking." Now that our floor is down, I don't agree with this assessment at all. This reviewer appeared to have put two planks together to test them, but did not actually lay a floor with them. Once you have the floor actually laid, the entire thing is so "busy" that your eye is not drawn to any part in particular. Another problematic photo review of a bathroom showed an incorrect install: planks were not laid randomly, and all the joints lined up: not cool! If these planks were installed randomly (i.e. correctly), they would look very good. My wife and I LOVE the look of the floor, it is very warm and inviting. Installation was a breeze, just follow the instructions! I realize that this product is in part marketed to DIYers, hence some of the negative reviews by people claiming that this product is difficult to install. Anyone who says this stuff is difficult to install doesn't know what they're talking about. During my long time in college, I worked as a hardwood floor installer for a few years, and have done tile, carpet, vinyl, and pergo at different times for different people. This product is BY FAR the easiest of all these products to install (well, Pergo may be almost as easy I guess, but is a very inferior product in terms of durability and moisture resistance), as well as the current best deal on the market in terms of cost-return. Also, it is great for high-moisture environments (kitchen, bath, my entire house that 4 kids do their very best to drench every inch of with every imaginable liquid, etc), which is why we went with this instead of refinishing our hardwoods. I would (and do!) recommend Trafficmaster Allure to anyone who needs an affordable and attractive alternative to hardwoods. The African dark wood color scheme is DA BOMB!!

Very beautiful!!
5 Star Review   By Marie on Home Depot - Jun 26, 2012

This floor is just as beautiful as I expected!!. Matching the pattern takes a little more concentration than I expected but it worked out once we got the hang of it. Price was dissapointing, I purchase on line for $1.59 sq ft and when I ordered one more case from the store, it was $1.99??? I don't really care but getting your prices to match would certainly look much better.

Great appearence
4 Star Review   By Angelinnh on Home Depot - Jun 6, 2012

Although the finished product looks awesome the installation is not as easy like it claims. We have forced hot air for our heating system and even though it says just score and snap its not like that especially if it is multiple angles we had a few pieces that we scored like it said and tried to snap it and it did the entire piece past were we cut and had to start over. If you have a lot of corners or doorways it does take a long time to get it just perfect and if your an impatient person I would highly recommend you have it installed by someone.

Ease of installing, Arrived when stated
4 Star Review   By Donnie on Home Depot - May 22, 2012

The Allure vinyl plank flooring is easy to install for the do it yourselfer and the look is comparable to an actual wood finish. The only problem I found was the directions on laying the flooring were in the bottom of the box and so one would need to take out all the flooring before getting to the directions.

Looks good, installs quickly, questionable durability.
2 Star Review   By Paul on Home Depot - Jan 24, 2012

I purchased this flooring to update our laundry room and adjoining bath. The product installs easily and looks good upon first installing it. My disapointment with the product lies in the claim of its durability. While it may structually hold up, its finish DOES NOT. The product seems to scratch very easy. I first noticed scratches simply from me moving the cardboard box that conains the product over a finished section. I had to be extreemly careful when placing the washer and dryer back in the room and the flooring has scratches after only a couple days of moving the laundry baskets across the floor. The manufacterures claim that the product "Is perfect for high traffic areas" is completely misleading. It is perfect if you like your floorin to be fraught with scratch marks all over it. I will live with the product, but I would NOT recomend it, to anyone. The Home Depot service was quick and fast on this product. My complaint lies with Allure Flooring, not the Home Depot.

It will work, but....
3 Star Review   By SGS2431 on Home Depot - Jan 10, 2012

We installed this product in a sunroom that serves as a transition between indoors and outdoors in a moderately wet part of the country. The water resistance of this product was very appealing. I explored the options at the store multiple times and decided this would be the best for the price. I was aware of mixed reviews. Actual installation was not that difficult. Seven boxes took several hours, but keep in mind a perfectionist engineer was involved and one of the longest walls had some very unusual cuts. One of the hardest parts was getting the seams snug on two edges before the adhesive took too much hold. I noticed after installation several of the seams that seemed perfect at ground level picked up the light ever so slightly when you are standing, making it look like there is a sizable gap. After several weeks, I am disappointed. I've had seams come up, where it has taken a heat gun and roller to re-set the adhesive. It scratches easily - parts of the floor that had little use have noticeable scratches. It was easy enough to install that I considering ordering more for my family room. I'm glad I waited. The family room will get much more activity and I would hate to have to replace that flooring so quickly.

Very good floor covering
5 Star Review   By nedfarrar on Home Depot - Sep 27, 2011

I chose the African Dark Wood because it was beautiful and had a very "woody" look to it. So may synthetic floor coverings look synthetic, but the African Dark Wood does seem quite real. Installation was quick and easy, and it cleans up well, which is important for me since I live with a lot of cats. The only negative note I will give it is that immediately after installation, and for quite a few days, there was a strong vinyl odor. I would recommend doing installation in the summer, when it is possible to ventilate well, rather than in any season of the year when you will be forced to cohabit with the smell in closed spaces. After a few weeks, the odor is completely gone.

Super easy to install
5 Star Review   By db14bbd on Home Depot - Sep 9, 2011

I wasn't sure how difficult it would be to install this flooring, but it turns out you can cut it pretty easily with a box cutter, and even a good pair of scissors for curved/odd areas. The sheen is kind of a satin finish, which is pretty obvious next to my super shiny maple flooring. But it might have been a bit much if it were glossy, as this flooring has such a bold pattern. The wood grain texture is nice, and seems to go along with the pattern of the coloring. It was also pretty easy to un-stick the planks when I didn't have it lined up just right.

fantastic reasonably priced floor solution
5 Star Review   By Paula on Home Depot - Jul 13, 2011

We bought this flooring to replace linoleum in a kitchen. We didn't want to put wood in because we thought that was impractical in a kitchen that is used often. We also used it in the entranceway connected to it because we live in a climate where we get snow in the winter and the wood was no longer making sense. First, my husband could not have been more thrilled with the ease with which it went down. Even beginners can DIY these! But we both absolutely love the look and feel of this flooring. It's so beautiful, it feels nice underfoot and just slightly textured. It is cool in the summer and does not feel like it will be cold like tile in the winter, but probably will be more like the wood in the rest of the house, neutral. We like this product so much, and it is so affordable that we are going to put it down in the rest of the house to give us another 10 years to replace the wood that we currently have that will be much more expensive to replace (and will probably take us that long to decide on one together!) It is very durable, yes we created a couple of scuffs dragging the appliances across it, but that was our fault for not using pads, and the scuffs are not noticeable unless you are looking for them. I totally recommend this product for anyone who is looking for an easy DIY way to replace old flooring on a budget!

African Dark Wood Only Problem
2 Star Review   By RedRock on Home Depot - Jul 2, 2011

I have purchased two other Allure Floormaster colors for installations I have done and I have been extremely happy with them. However, this color, African Dark Wood has a serious issue in my view. When installing the tiles lengthwise, you cannot get a decent transition between the planks. because of the very different look of the dark grainy wood and the light clear stripes on this, no matter how you try, you end up with a light streak transitioning right into the middle of a dark knot. This makes it look ridiculously fake and your eye is drawn right to that area immediately because it is so odd looking. I thought perhaps there would be special instructions for this color that would solve the problem but there do not seem to be and no matter how we tried mixing the planks, we couldn't get an acceptable look. On their own, the planks are gorgeous. But put down as a long floor the look is awful. Luckily I only ordered one box as a test and will be returning it.

Possibly Toxic
1 Star Review   By ERose on Home Depot - Feb 1, 2011

We had to rip out our Allure Vinyl Plank Flooring a few weeks after we got it. We used the African Wood purchased on homedepot.com. It took about 7 hours for my husband and I to lay the floor in our living room of 325 sq ft. Our fireplace is placed diagonally in the corner. No problems putting the floor in. It did take awhile, but was easy. One inexperienced person could do it. If you decide to purchase this flooring, do use a seam roller. We bought one for $6. As we rolled it, we could hear the air bubbles popping inside. The floor looked absolutely amazing. The variations in the wood made our room look bigger. The problem was that on the second day my husband started to complain about the smell. I just smelled a typical plastic smell which went away after a couple of days. He smelled something similar to old fry grease or rotting meat. Then it got worse for him. If he sat in the room, he would feel nauseous. We had friends over who did not smell it, but when my brother came over, he also had a reaction to it and said the smell was nauseating. I called Halstead, and must say they did have great customer service. They immediately authorized a full refund, and a couple of weeks later it came through on my card. They told me that it is like perfume - most people will have no problem, but a few people out there will feel sick from the smell. It was very disappointing as both of us loved the floor and of course we lost a lot of our time. I would NOT recommend this floor. My thought is that if it was making my husband sick, it was probably doing something to me too - I just couldn't smell it. We've replaced the floor with a laminate and made sure we got something made in the USA.

Beautiful floor
5 Star Review   By chere11 on Home Depot - Jan 25, 2011

My husband and I really wanted wood floors but were concerned with the potential damage by animals (dogs). Another concern was for spills from our grandchildren. We decided on this product for the protection and the look. While we had this product installed by a contractor, installation does not appear difficult. It took the contractor only about 3 hours to install 30 boxes. Perfect for a kitchen or bathroom. We have it in both and it looks beautiful! If your base moulding is already in place be prepared to have quarter round or shoe moulding for your edges. This flooring is floating so when we do remodel and get hardwood the vinyl will be easy to remove. I highly recommend this type of flooring for parents, grandparents, and dog owners! Great look and great protection so far.

African Dark - Loving It More Everyday
5 Star Review   By Jackson4 on Home Depot - Dec 29, 2010

The first time I saw the African Dark flooring in Home Depot, I began to think of where I could install it. I decided to pull up the carpet in my upstairs hallway and have someone lay the flooring. When I saw it in the box I got worried and nervous because the style is different from the ordinary wood grains normally displayed. Now my floor is done and I absolutely love it. It looks different and adds a needed funky style to the upstairs hallway. I can't wait to hear what my other family members will say. They know to expect something different and not plain. I've always avoided the norm like white painted walls. Two-tone Allure flooring... I am so happy with my selection. Stylish and affordable...love it!

You're gonna love this floor!
5 Star Review   By Jusbcas on Home Depot - Dec 7, 2010

Easy installation, even in room full of furniture! Staggering is simple and enhances the professional look. Planks break evenly with minimum effort in scoring. Excellent especially given the price. This particular color, African dark is incredibly beautiful with striking two colors. No matter how you lay it the pattern looks professional. We simply laid out the first row as far as we could and finished off the first row with a quick measure and cut. The second row we started with cutting a 2ft piece which offset all the following full planks from the first row. When cutting a plank make sure the unfinished, or cut side is hidden by the bottom molding. Unfinished edges are very difficult to line up with finished edges. 3rd row we started with a 1ft piece which offset the row again. We then started the 4th row like the 1st using a full plank and continued this process until complete. Adhesive should always lay away from the start point! If you don't complete the floor for any reason, I recommend covering the exposed adhesive overnight with the paper that separates the planks, especially if you have cats or long haired animals. Do not sweep over exposed adhesive. A;so avoid pitting pressure on adhesive until you are sure you have a good fit because the adhesive bonds even quicker when you apply pressure. Flooring is easy to score and break. Be careful dragging heavy furniture across the finish, it will create marks. Mistakes like these are easily corrected with a colored pencil or wood color repair kit. We installed ours over concrete to finish a garage into a room and we love it. I am a woman with mobility issues and easily installed this floor using a carpet knife, a straight edge and a small rolling chair. Big props to Home Depot for this brand. Excellent for diyfers!

Animal Friendly
5 Star Review   By AnimalLovers on Home Depot - Dec 5, 2010

We have been looking for a product to replace the wall to wall carpet in our home. We have always had dogs and the carpet is not friendly when it comes to accidents and odors. We contemplated wood- but it scratches and gets deep gouges. Laminate swells if moisture gets between the slats. This product has been great relatively easy to install, easy to clean, and looks great. We layed over 2000 sq. ft. on our own. It holds up to the dogs great (2 Large & 2 medium inside dogs). Everyone that comes to the house compliments on how much they like the floor. We are always telling people about the Allure flooring. Thanks Home Depot and Allure! We finally have a house that does not smell like a kennel and looks great.

4 Star Review   By ezzee on Home Depot - Sep 30, 2010

This is a great product to use and makes the floor look awesome. The instructions were easy to follow, espically for someone who does little home improvments. I aslo like the color slections. The staff at my local store helped alot with questions.
