Simple to install, but read directions carefully, and it does take time to do it right. But the result is outstanding.

Looks Great When Standing but I can see seams if I get close
4 Star Review   By AiDIY10 on Home Depot - Apr 3, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Comments/opinions on the Allure vinyl tile product: -- I love the way this floor looks! Such an improvement over the dirty carpet. -- I'll have to see how it wears but so far so good. I have a busy household so it will definitely get alot of wear and tear. I'm crossing my fingers that it holds up well and as promised on the package, I can't imagine starting over with this floor.... --Installation was fairly simple once you get the hang of it. There is a bit of pulling/pushing and maneuvering to get the tile to lock in and join to the adjacent tiles. I do notice a few seams showing and this is not supposed to happen. I'm not happy about it but I'm hoping that they are not too noticible and that no more appear. --Because this room was carpeted, the subfloor was very uneven, there are even bumps that I can feel through the tile. Thankfully we used this product because its flexible and forgiving of the uneven floor. Otherwise I think we would have had to level the floor before installing any other hard product.

Planks not cut even
2 Star Review   By NotHappy on Home Depot - Feb 2, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

This floor looks great! BUT the planks are not cut even from the factory and we put down over 870 sq ft. Entry, kitchen, bathroom, dining, living area and hall. Small areas maybe ok but this big of area has many flaws. GET Home Depot TO INSTALL IT!!! I hired someone else that was a floor installer but used less planks not separate bad ones. Installed November 2012. The planks are not cut even from the factory. Now I am stuck with cracks that catch dirt, the seams do not meet on some of the strips. Not cut even from the factory. A peel on the corner of the plank now. My out of town family did not notice any of it but I live with it every day and clean it. I got sick so just now getting to write this review. Use a roll instead would have been better.

If you can beat this stuff, I don't know how
5 Star Review   By HomeImproventProfessional on Home Depot - Jan 28, 2013    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I have iunstalled a LOT of flooring. If you watch the DIY channel you have probably seen me do it. I have a dining room over concrete in my own home and wanted something other than tile or sheet vinyl to do the flooring. I will say that this is the easiest and best laminate "Soft Laminate" I have ever installed. I am not a fan of laminate usually because it is a pain to get perfect most of the time. This stuff did give me a blister or two getting it installed but all of the the seams went together laser perfect and pretty easily. There is no "Click" usually but you know when its in place because it looks PERFECT. I NEVER give any product a perfect 10 because there is ALWAYS room for improvement, but I'm having trouble finding any issues with this product that aren't just nit-picky. Buy it, you will like it. Ease of installation for DIY'er is great if you can spend the time on your knees and have some strength in your hands.

We've had our floor for about 3 years now and it still looks great. I was a bit concerned about the wear by the hi traffic area by door wall, but that's also doing well. We had Home Depot do the installation and they did an excellent job.

Excellent product
5 Star Review   By Susalinda on Home Depot - Nov 20, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

We purchased the flooring for our basement which can get damp or wet in spring time after a snowy winter (we live in New England). Our house is over 70 years old and the basement - well - it's a typical unfinished basement. As the basement is our main entry to our house from our garage, I had to do something to make it more functional and pleasing to the eye. We researched for a long time to find flooring we could quickly pull up or replace in case of water damage. The TafficMaster InterLock system was the winner of the limited products out there. We love that we did not have to glue it down. Also, the look and feel is wonderful. It looks like real wood and it's easy to clean. Furthermore, the installation was pretty easy once we figured out how to lock the pieces together. My husband used a small handsaw to cut the pieces to lenghts. I order 15 boxes and we were lucky that only one plank was damaged in one corner. Two "issues" with this product: - The price is pretty high compared to the glue down versions - however, the quality is good. So you pay for what you get. - Our floor is not always level or straight in some places so we had to fill the gap between the floor and the planks with extra wood planks... guess that is not so much an issue with the product but it took longer to put down the floor. In summary, I would definitely recommend this product for the basement, entry ways, or even rooms.

This product is just beautiful. I liked it so much in one room that was done last year that I put it down throughout the upstairs of my house. Everything wipes up quickly and easily if something is spilled. Love the look.

Looks GREAT, easy install with very tight seams.
5 Star Review   By riodad on Home Depot - Aug 24, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Easiest install I've ever had - installed lots on laminate and trips back and forth to the saw wear you out. Just a square and knife is all it takes - score, bend and it snaps off with a clean edge. Seams click together easily and tight without banging on it with a block and hammer like many laminates I've used. Added bonus over laminate is the softer feel makes a huge difference when walking on it - no clickity clack. Softer surface will scratch easier but with normal precautions I don't expect problems. Did gouge it moving the fridge back mid-install and just popped out a few rows to get back to the damaged piece, replaced, and reinstalled the few rows in about 5 minutes. Best of all it really looks great! Wasn't sure it would just looking at it at the store but now that it's on the floor it's quite an upgrade over the laminate. Plus as a solid vinyl product the next time the dishwasher leaks the vinyl won't require replacement which is how all this started...

Nice Floor
4 Star Review   By jacsr on Home Depot - Aug 14, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

We installed this flooring in our kitchen, nice flooring. My only complaint is out of 7 cases almost a full case had damages to the ends of the material, some I was able to use for fillins and odd places, but still it shouldn't be. The floor looks absolutely beautiful, just order extra incase you have to replace or for damage in route to you.

Very good product
4 Star Review   By Lookingelswhere on Home Depot - Aug 2, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

Once we figured out an easy way to connect the slats, this was easy to install. We connected an entire row to each other, and then we attached this row to the previous rows already down. It looks great and was ideal for our replacement over old lineoleum tiles. We plan to use this in our vacation house also.

Easy Installation, Nice Look
5 Star Review   By EMMD on Home Depot - May 2, 2012    ( See more reviews from Home Depot )

I just installed this flooring in the entryway of a townhouse we were refinishing for a family member. This by far is the easiest product I have ever installed and it has one of the better realistic wood looks with its textured embossing out of products I have used in the past. One criticism is that the flooring does not actually "click" together with an audible sound as the directions give you the impression they should. After the first couple of rows however you get the feel for how to put the planks together to get a tight fit at each joint every time. Only tools needed to install this flooring were a utility knife, straight edge, and tape measure. Highly recommend you give this product a try if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to traditional wood flooring that still gives you a high quality look.
