Durable paper!
5 Star Review

Strengths: Great color and texture. Very Durable!

Weakness: Not stocked locally as well as I would like to see. Sometimes hard to find.

Paper provides great color and image quality. This paper (when printed with Canon ink) is able to maintain quality of print when print is held under running water and rubbed with fingers. Very durable!! This paper is an excellent choice for use when finished image will be subject to much handling.

Strengths: Paper delivers crisp photos. Very nice quality. I only use this type of paper for photos.

I would highly recommend this photo paper. I have a Canon i470D printer & I love it. It prints out great quality photos. I have tried other photo paper & always come back to Canon Photo PaperPlus Glossy.

Strengths: Similar quality to commercial prints.

I have used Canon photo paper since the time I got my Canon printer. The prints seem to be similar in quality and feel to regular lab prints at discount stores. In fact, I was able to fool friends and relatives into thinking I had the photos professionally printed. Although I am not a professional photographer I would highly recommend that everyone who wants to print their own photos try this product.

4 Star Review   By member jxn6476 - Oct 31, 2004

Strengths: Great price per sheet. Great printout with photo printers. Canon brand image.

Weakness: it could be better if it had removable tab. With my HP photosmart 145 printer, sides of prints are cut off little bit to givee some margin. With HP photo paer with tab, prints are ok.

Reliable brand and great price for lots of prints. It costs less than $0.16 per sheet. If you use refill ink with your printer, it will cost you very cheap to print your photos.

Strengths: Professional quality results.

I found this paper to be excellent. It is a nice weight; not too think nor too thin. I used it with a Canon printer and the end result is similar to that of a professional photo lab. I would definitely purchase this product again. Having connected with a good quality printer and excellent quality paper, I am done sending my digital images away for printing!

Strengths: Acheived great prints with a Canon IP4000. Hard to tell difference between prints on this paper and those from the mini-lab.

Weakness: Just like prints from the mini-lab, fingerprints.

Prints came out great using this paper and a Canon IP4000. The look and feel resembles traditional prints from the mini-lab. The paper holds the ink well. I tried a cheap Kodak Anytime paper on which the ink sits on top of the paper and mushes together. The canon Paper allows for crisp colorful prints. I only ran into two problems. The paper is a bit expensive so the prints end up costing about the same as getting them done at Sam's Club or Costco. But being a control freak, I like being able to tweak a print a few times before I hand it off to my wife for album-ing. The second issue (which is in conjunction with the printer) is that I get a line accross my print where the printer's rollers run along the print. My wife didn't notice it though. Overall an excellent paper.

5 Star Review   By member ahself - Aug 26, 2004

Strengths: Excellent quality. No noticeable difference from photo lab or Canon Photo Paper Pro prints.

I purchased a Canon i860 and wanted to be able to print 4x6 prints comparable to those from a photo lab. I first tried Kodak Premium Picture Paper and the prints turned out lousy. That confirmed reviews I'd read that stated Canon photo paper worked best in Canon printers. I then assumed I should use Canon Photo Paper Pro to get the best quality, but wanted to see if the Plus Glossy prints would work just as well (since they're cheaper)...I'd read reviews that said they would. So, I bought the Photo Paper Plus Glossy sheets, compared their output to the output of the Pro prints that came with the printer and neither I nor my wife could tell the difference. No sense in paying more if the output appears to be the same.

Strengths: Strong paper

This is very good paper. I can do borderless printing and get the glossy look that I desire. It is just like the paper that I used to get from the stores when I got my film developed.

Strengths: High quality professional photo paper. Vivid colors, tremendous detail, edge to edge printing.

Weakness: None that I can find.

This product provides me with a high quality product that is easy to use. Vivid coloration in the pictures, with crisp, clear detail! Quality remains high whether indoors or out. No deterioration when cropping and receive a product that could be mistaken for a professional, and I am only an amateur photographer!!

Strengths: Works great with canon printers, excellent brightness and weight

Weakness: Careful handling needed as fingerprints are clearly visible after printing

After printing some economy sheets on normal copy paper, I tested the photo 4x6 photo paper pro paper, and was stunned. Photographs produced from an i860 (a wonderful printer, if I may add) produced results that were nothing short of stunning. While it may be more economical in the long run to opt for different 8.5x11 paper, I find little to dislike with canon's 4x6 paper. And remember to purchase photo paper pro. I have heard less desireable results with other lines, though it really IS printer specific.

Strengths: Rivals photo labs and is reasonably priced.

This paper together with this quantity is an excellent alternative to processing pictures at the lab. I use the paper with my new canon i9900 and the results are spectacular. The paper is pretty durable and heavy weight which is why I wouldn't bother upgrading to the more expensive "photo paper pro" version--this will more than suffice for your 4 x 6" needs.

Strengths: Professional Quality

I have a Canon i960 printer. This paper prints excellent photos with borderless printing. How awesome it is to use a digital camera and choose which pictures you want printed and do it at home with the same quality as if you went to a store to print them. Not to mention the convenience!

Strengths: Excellent quality. Looks like they came from a photo lab.

Weakness: None.

I recently purchased a Canon i560s printer to print photos from my Nikon digital camera. I tried a couple of differest brands of paper, neither produced the quality photos I had hoped for. The colors were muted and skin tones had a grey hue. I found the Canon Photo Paper Plus 4x6 online in 120 sheet packs for approx. 13 cents per sheet, a real savings over retail. The quality of the photos with the Canon paper is amazing!!! Skin tones are warm and realistic, scenery is true to life. They really look like they have come from a photo lab. I will never use any paper but the Canon Photo Paper Plus. Awesome!

Strengths: Produces Excellent Quality prints on my Canon I960.

Weakness: None, except they run out too fast

I purchased the photo paper from best buy and I was truly impressed with the clarity and definition of all the copies. All pictures were taken with a Minolta Z2 and printed with a Canon I960

Strengths: ease of use in canon i960 photo printer lablike photo quality quick and easy

Weakness: none yet!

I can hardly find canon photo paper at local retailers, so it was more economical to purchase the 120 pkgs online. Printing costs only about 14 per sheet not counting ink of course. The papers are really easy to load into this printer's special compartment and come out fast and good! They are lablike in appearance.

Strengths: Excellent quality; looks like the pictures came from a photo lab; very impressed with pictures I have printed on my older model Canon S530D.

I used to buy Canon glossy photo paper and cut it into 4x6 pieces. It seemed to be the most cost effective way to print everyday shots. But now that I've used the Canon Photo Paper Plus glossy 4x6 paper, I will never go back. It is actually cheaper to do it this way if you're willing to shop around for the lowest price. I have had a hard time buying Canon photo paper of any kind from my local office supply stores. I search the web for the best prices. I have already used up most of my 120 sheets and have already placed another order for more!

Strengths: Superb, high quality prints. Photo-quality with borderless printing.

Weakness: None.

I always do borderless printing from my Canon i960 photo printer. People cannot tell that my prints are "home grown" from my digital camera. I shoot most of my shots with a Canon 10D, so most of my shots are up to 6 megapixels. The Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy 4" x 6" are my "standard" prints before I decide to make larger prints. Having a Canon color printer allows you to calibrate the printing specifically for the way this paper is constructed. I highly recommend this for everyday use.

5 Star Review   By member sadaley - Apr 30, 2004

Strengths: Texture and Gloss the same as typical lab processing. Printed with a Canon S9000, the color is dead-on. Paper weight is OK.

Weakness: The backs are somewhat sticky to the touch. This may be intentional, so the paper feeds through the printer with more accuracy, but I haven't noticed this with other papers.

I've used the Canon Pro Glossy, JetPrint Professional Glossy, and this paper (Canon Plus Glossy) with my Canon S9000 and I'm happy with the results on all the papers. This paper is close to the Pro paper in terms of performance, and for typical snap-shots, I don't think it's worth paying for the pro paper. The price is close to what you'd pay for prints from a lab, so after you take into account the fact that you don't print your "bad" shots, it's a pretty cost effective way to process your snapshots, ink and paper considered.
