Good notebook stand
Strengths: Low price

I bought this Belkin laptop cooling stand for my Lenovo Thinkpad T61. It gets hot after running for some time and I was worried the extra heat might not be good to the laptop. This stand keeps my laptop cool. It works as advertised. Also it is powered by the USB port without any external power adapter, which is handy for travel.

Decent cooling stand
Strengths: Quiet, good design.
Weakness: None
Recently my laptop was getting very hot and shutting down automatically. Then I bought this Belkin laptop cooler and it helped taking heat away from the laptop and cooling down. It has good design and sits comfortably in the lap. The size also perfect for my laptop and fits very nicely. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it.

Poor Quality and Bad Return Policy
Strengths: Worked OK for a short while
Weakness: Noisy and broke within 3 months of use
I bought mine 3 months ago and it suddenly stopped working. Belkin doesn't have an agreement with Best Buy like many manufacturers do, so in order to get a replacement (as it is covered by the warranty) I have to pay to ship the part to Belkin and then wait for it to arrive before they will ship me a new one. In the meantime, I'm SOL as far as using a laptop cooling pad.

As Advertised
Strengths: Just works day in day out.
Weakness: Can't think of one right now.
Bought this a little over one year ago and have been using ever since. I use my laptop for work, five days a week for about 8 hours a day. My laptop uses a wireless card to connect to our server, with the Belkin Cooling Stand, when I close up at night and put everything away, it has only registered very moderate heat. Considering how it was before, there is no way that card would have lasted....
