Better, but still not a Jabra
2 Star Review   By member BillyBob2011 - Oct 15, 2011

Strengths: Voice quality, 3-way hookup (desk, Laptop & cell)

Weakness: Electronic hookswitch not offered

One of our goals this year was to find a top quality wireless headset with an electronic hookswitch feature so we could finally get rid of the kludgy HL-10 handset lifter. We just completed installing a brand new phone system for 1500 users & had been devout Plantronics fans for years, but felt the HL-10 lifter kit left much to be desired. We tried the SAVI 100 but the EHS cable kit was (1) proprietary, (2) expensive, and (3) too short to be used on phones with a sidecar expansion module. In other words, a bad design. I'll refrain from naming a specific brand, but one of their biggest competitors offers an EHS cable kit for their 3-way model for less than half the cost and with the right tools & connectors you can built the EHS cable yourself for $1 worth of parts in 5 minutes. I realize the HL-10 is kind of a universal thing, but when you're looking at $300 and $400 headsets, the kludge handset lifter begs for something better. Overall rating B- to C+
