Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus GameCube has basically one thing going for it - 4 player Co-op. If you're looking just for single player action, I'd go elsewhere. The graphics are poor, the music is cheesy, and the gameplay is not very responsive. The game might be fun for a youger video gamer, but this is not a TNMT game to pick up unless your a die hard fan.

NINJA TURTLE!!!

Strengths: it's Ninja Turtle!! better than the first one nice graphic

Weakness: audio is not interesting at all

the control is weird. the audio is not good. the graphic is nice, has this cartoonish look. as long as you are a ninja turtle fan, you'll like the game. this is definitely NOT A SINGLE player game.. I was bored in 5 minutes when I had to play this game by myself. But multiplayer is fun, me and my girlfriend were yelling at each other and asking for help!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in the TMNT 2: Battle Nexus video game. It is a beat-them up game with the TMNT franchise that is targeted towards older children and teens. The best part of the game is the 4 player co-op mode (we have 4 ninja turtles, haven't we?) which can be hard to come by in a video game.

The downside of the game is the weird control and poor game design, that seeems to indicate its low budget production. What can be said about the music. Well, it leaves a lot to be desired. But then again, its targeted audience is children/teens and they don't care much as long as they see their favorite characters in action.

if you are a fan of TMNT and can find this game cheap, give it a shot. Otherwise, steer clear.

Strengths: Francise is always fun - original arcade game is included

Weakness: Flaws of original game aren't fixed

I've been a fan of TMNT since the original NES game. Then the arcade game, Turtles in Time, etc etc. So I can't help but buy their games, no matter what I hear review wise. That said, this game isn't what i was hoping for. I was hoping they'd improve over the problems with the last release. THey did not. There are still control problems, camera issues, and other various tidbits.
However, I am impressed with the unlockable original arcade game. since I no longer have a SNES this was a treat. The music to the game has changed, so all the nostalgia isn't there, but its still a fun time. The co-op capabilities make this a fun party game as well.
