Really fun product
Strengths: Easy setup, 300 alreay built-in songs, easy to use, easy to follow along with the words, headphone jack
Weakness: Music is similar to .midi and not cd quality, a bit pricey, on screen pictures are boring
The setup consisted of just plugging in 3 wires and the ac adapter. You punch in the song number from the provided mini binder and you're good to go. It already has 300 built-in songs from a variety of genres, but additional songs come in cartridges that are about $50 a pop. It's attached with a long cable, but you can buy a separate wireless mic. These random pictures (mountains, fields, oceans, etc) pop up on the screen while the songs are playing, and they get pretty boring and annyoing after a while.

Strengths: The feature of having the "All-In-The-Mic" design. There is no cumbersome unit to find a place for storage, having this feature is also a plus when taking it to other locations.
Weakness: Would love to see the main mic have a wireless design just like the duet mic.
Prior to purchasing this Karaoke system, I attended a party which someone brought this exact unit to share at a 40th b-day party. What great fun we all had-all the laughs and giggles, you would have thought someone was turning 16. I had often thought of getting a karaoke machine several years prior and had my eye on one that had a box unit containing it's speakers and dials but the mic was wireless--what a great feature. Then I saw and used Leadsinger first hand, and "fell in love". Still would love to see a complete wireless unit but I'll take the concept of "all in the mic" any day.

It was a hit with my family
Strengths: It's compact and plugs right into the TV! It turns your TV into a karaoke system. It was the biggest hit of our Christmas.
Weakness: Three cords plug into the TV and one into an outlet. The directions were either lost in the Christmas morning madness, or it didn't include any.
This is one of the best buys of the year. I was sceptical, however, a friend of ours had one and my kids just love to use theirs. It's even a bigger hit at our home. The only negative is that we have all the kids in our neighborhood now wanting to come over and sing. My husband has even sung us a tune or two.
