Fender Blacktop Jaguar HH | Black
3.5 Star Review  productwiki.com - Dec 29, 2010

The Fender Blacktop Jaguar HH is an expansion of the Fender Blacktop series that uses humbucking pickups. A pair of overwound Hot Vintage Alnico pickups work to avoid picking up electric hum, instead gathering undistorted audio from the strings. The rosewood fretboard has 22 medium jumbo frets and is connected to an alder body with the signature 3-ply black pickguard of the Fender Blacktop series. Pickup switching is handled by a 3-position toggle switch, and there are controls for master volume and master tone. Features Body Material: Alder 22 Medium Jumbo Frets Rosewood Fretboard, 9.5 in Radius (241 mm) White Dot Position Inlays Neck Material: Maple Neck Finish: Gloss Urethane Scale Length: 24 in (610 mm) Neck Plate: Vintage Style 4 Bolt Truss Rod Nut: 3/16 in Adjustable Hex Nut Bridge Pickup: Hot Vintage Alnico Bridge Humbucking Pickup with Nickel Cover Neck Pickup: Hot Vintage Alnico Neck Humbucking Pickup with Nickel Cover ... PROS: (1) easy to use action, dont have to stretch your fingers (2) good feel in general, well balanced and comfortable to use (3) electronics are solid, no hum or major adjustments needed (4) tone capable of varying from harsh to creamy, good range (5) pickups provide excellent clarity and a strong signal ... CONS: (1) switches tend to wear out when used heavily (2) volume knob tends to roll off the treble, could use a cap and resistor bypass
