TECHNICS FEEL BETTER...
Strengths: Craftsmanship, Stability, Accuracy
Weakness: None really, however it would be nice if they had 2 Stop/Start buttons.
Technics have overturned the status quo in the turntable market. The craftsmanship of the MK5's are unmatched. I tested both the Numark TTX1's and Technics 1210 MK5's. The Numarks are great, I really cannot put them down. In fact I may get one of them for my son. Awesome turntable well suited for club use
Strengths: Lots and lots of torque Powerful direct drive motor Pitch reset button Instant start/stop Built like a tank
Weakness: RCA cables built into turntable
One of the best turntables you can buy for the money, bar none. I could not be happier with the Technics SL-1210MK5. The direct drive motor has lots of torque and is well suited for scratching. It starts and stops instantly and the pitch reset button is a significant improvement over the SL-1210MK2 series. It is very solidly constructed. I highly recommend this turntable to all DJs.
