What is a "Storefront?" What is a "Merchant?" |
|
Answer: The PriceGrabber Storefronts Service allows individuals to list and sell merchandise without the need to have their own web site. When a user buys from a PriceGrabber Storefronts Service seller, the buyer is not redirected to the seller's web site, instead, the buyer places the order with the seller within the PriceGrabber web site. However, the buyer is not buying from PriceGrabber, the buyer just places the order through PriceGrabber, and PriceGrabber then passes the buyer's transaction information to the applicable seller. The PriceGrabber Storefronts Service designed to help sellers without their own web site or to help sellers that would rather pay commission only if their merchandise sells rather than a Cost Per Click (CPC) to send traffic to their own web site.

How do I leave or edit feedback (i.e Seller Reviews, Product Reviews)?
|

Answer:
How to leave feedback for a seller
To leave feedback for a storefront seller, simply log into your account and click on “Leave Feedback.” Locate the seller you would like to review and click on the “Rate” link adjacent to their name. Finally, enter in your feedback and submit the review.
If you are planning to leave feedback for a merchant, the procedure is little different. Here are the steps on how to do so: 1) Click on the “Merchant Ratings” link located at the top of the homepage 2) Using the merchant search tool, do a search for the merchant you would like to review. 3) Once you have located the merchant, click on their name to be taken to their merchant information page. 4) Within the “Merchant Review and Ratings” title bar there is a link called “Write a review.” Click on it and enter in your feedback. 5) Finally, click on the “Preview Rating” button and submit the review.
Note: Some merchants provide a follow up email survey after a transaction is completed that allows buyers to provide feedback via email. In this case, the above procedure will not apply.

Why is there a $2 charge on my credit card after setting up a buyer/seller account? |
|
Answer: This is simply for verification purposes and is not an actual charge because no funds are being taken. This is known as a 'Ghost' charge, as we verify that the credit card is valid and can be charged to. The 'charge' should fall off within a couple of days and be credited back to your account. If this charge appears on your written statement then it may just be that you registered within your credit card billing cycle. |
