Strengths: Attractive, comfortable

Weakness: Takes up to 6 feet to stop. Tiller adjustment knob difficult for those with arthritis to tighten to hold so tiller constantly falls into lap of driver.

Purchased this scooter to replace older Pride that was very reliable. Have been using a scooter for 18 years so am not a novice. This scooter takes up to 6 feet to stop when you release the throttle. When someone walking in front of you in a crowd stops you can not avoid bumping them. Reported it to Pride and was told that 6 feet is within the acceptable range. My 3 previous scooters all stoped almost immediately when throttle was released. Pride redesigned the tiller adjustment and replaced the old adjustment LEVER with a round knob that is difficult for anyone with arthritis in hands to tighten where it holds, this results in the tiller constantly falling into your lap. I offered to purchase one of the older levers to replace the knob and was told any alteration would void warrantee. I have owned this scooter only 3 months and have had to have service 6 times and parts were needed each time. I called for first repair the first week. Scooter after the last repair will only move at a speed slower than a crawl .... like an injured snail. Company has now agreed to replace the scooter but I have been waiting for the replacement for three weeks and stuck at home with no transportation since I am not confident I can go out on this scooter without it breaking down and leaving me stranded somewhere. This scooter was probably just a lemon but due to company's taking so long to agree to replace it I would hesitate to purchase from them again. Pride only agreed to replace the scooter and accept the return of this scooter after my credit card told me that with the history of documented repairs they could reverse the charge if Pride did not accept the return.
