junk
1 Star Review   By Jean on Home Depot - Jun 9, 2013

I really thought I was buying a higher grade product but it was junk, my husband had to make new holes just to match up to get the two chairs together. I'm cross my fingers and hope it doesn't fall apart when someone sits or laid down

Adjustable chaise works well, looks good.
4 Star Review   By ProGuardian on Home Depot - Jun 5, 2013

This aluminum lounge arrived in a box totally smashed by UPS. (no suprise there). The contents were ok and no parts were missing. Some of the hardware cover caps would not stay on without a drop of glue, but no big deal. I do like the product and the price was fair. I recommend this.

the construction is sturdy and firm. the material and angles make lounging comfortable. the item was backordered for a month and when it arrived it there were two bolts missing for assembly. This was very inconvenient.

This product is very poor quality.
1 Star Review   By jj55 on Home Depot - Jun 3, 2013

I read the poor reviews on this product and still purchased it. Martha should be ashamed to put her name on it. Holes don't line up and the arm on chair is bent. I should of returned it but didn't want to go thru the hassle. I doubt it will last more than a year!

I bought two chaise chair and while the assembly was simple, the arms are not flush and bow out. The chairs don't represent a quality product and I just might return them. I'm not happy at all and don't recommend the chairs...sorry.

5 Star Review   By zzyzx on Home Depot - Feb 24, 2013

This is a quality lounge chair. We looked all over and it seems that what is out there for lounge chairs is either cheap junk or expensive high end stuff. This is right in the middle. We bought two and a year later we are very satisfied. Don't let the space between the back and the bottom dissuade you. It doesn't bother me one bit and my wife, who initially complained, now says it doesn't bother her either.

Comfortable lounge
4 Star Review   By JT47 on Home Depot - Aug 28, 2012

Great looking chair that was easy to assemble with fewer pieces than expected. The back panel was slightly bent but not worth exchanging the chair for another. Comfortable to sit on and light-weight so easy to move around as the sun shifts.

Very nice looking. Not very heavy and wondering how they will hold up... only time will tell!
4 Star Review   By rphtomd on Home Depot - Aug 17, 2012

Very nice looking, but not sure how they will fare over the long run. They are a bit light weight, so I'm a little weary. Hopefully they will be just great!

Comfortable lounge chair!
5 Star Review   By Mosaic on Home Depot - Aug 3, 2012

This lounge chair was easy to put together and it is very comfortable. The webbed seating area is cool and stands up to the weather well. The chair is a very welcome addition to my deck. It's various lounge positions make it a hit for reading and relaxing. The fact that it is aluminum is a plus for moving it around; it's not too heavy. It does not look cheap, however. Nice classic looking chair.

Looks nice, but a lightweight
3 Star Review   By Sandi on Home Depot - Jul 31, 2012

The overall look is very nice, but very lightweight. Had trouble putting it together. To begin with the hardware was not in the box. I had to call and have it sent. Putting it together was difficult because the holes did not align. We had to redrill several holes. They must not have any quality control at the factory.

Better than what I had expected... beautiful, comfortable & sturdy.
5 Star Review   By FMAM on Home Depot - Jul 20, 2012

I ordered 2 of them to match with my Solana Patio set which i am soooo pleased with... (We've had it now for one year and it looks as great now as when we first got it. Even my 300 pds friends have enjoyed sitting in the swivel chairs with no problems.) To be honest i was a bit afraid to order the lounge chairs because of some of the negative reviews but because I knew i could return them to home depot store if they didn't work out, i did order them and i am sooooo glad I did!!! It was the easiest assembly i have ever done (just read the instructions!!!!) I put them together in less than 15 minutes. The hardware was missing in one the box but i called the number they provided, talked to a very pleasant person and i received the missing hardware 4 days later as promised. They even brought it to my front door! These chairs are beautiful, comfortable, and sturdy.... I would recommend the whole set to anyone. This household is happy.... Thanks!

Nice Chaise
4 Star Review   By LoriL1970 on Home Depot - Jul 17, 2012

This is a nice looking, decent quality chaise for the $. I looked at much more expensive lounge chairs and feel that these chaises are a good value. There are no wheels, but even some of the pricey ones don't have wheels; they are lightweight, though, so you don't have to worry about scraping your patio if you want to move them.

Comfortable and stylish chair at a good price.
5 Star Review   By Happy05 on Home Depot - Jul 17, 2012

We are very pleased with the purchase of this chaise lounge. It is stylish, looks like an expensive chaise, and is very comfortable for a reasonable price. It required some assembly upon arrival which was done without too much difficulty.

Look OK, low quality
3 Star Review   By cliff on Home Depot - Jul 10, 2012

Assemble crooked, scratch easily (very difficult to assemble without scratching), missing bolts, poor wrench access. Hope the initial poor quality impression does not equate to a short lifespan. They look OK and are comfortable.

They look nice around the pool and are very comfortable. The arm rests get very hot when exposed to direct sunlight.

4 Star Review   By sunlover on Home Depot - Jul 6, 2012

we love these for the lanai. The quality is there, they are very comfortable. When they get wet they can be quickly dried off. Chairs with the sunbrella cushions can be an issue after the summer afternoon rains. We love these chaises.

Just like others - no hardware
3 Star Review   By OkieCurt on Home Depot - Jul 6, 2012

Seriously, HD - you need to do something to make sure your manufacturer fixes the shipping box problem everyone else on here has mentioned. I ordered 4 of these lounges and 2 did not have the hardware package with them. Boxes were a joke - not the fault of UPS for them splitting and breaking at every corner. As for the lounge iteself - just like a lot of other reviews - holes do not line up very well and welds were very sloppy (what do we expect from Chinese welders I guess). Make sure you put the 2 bolts in the back of the arm rest in first, then work forward from there or you will not be able to make the others fit. Directions don't mention using the washers on the 1/4 in bolts, so make sure you use them. Haven't had a chance to use the lounges yet, but the 2 I did get together look nice on the pool deck.

Not equal quality as the patio chairs in the same series
1 Star Review   By HillbillyDeluxe on Home Depot - Jul 3, 2012

We've had the Solana Bay table and patio chairs for about two years. That set is very comfortable and has proven to be very durable so we decided to order the chaise lounges as well. Right from the start I noticed that the boxes appeared to have been opened before and needless to say the quality of the shipping protection was minimal at best. Sure enough, one of the chairs was slightly bent and the other was missing the hardware. We decided to assemble one of the chairs anyway and it's a total pain. The screw holes are not at all aligned and since these are aluminum, you will strip the threads in the blink of an eye. We also noticed that on one chair, they used the wrong rail when they welded the assembly together. As a result, the chair back was not spaced evenly. Would it work? Yes, but for this price per chair you expect some serious quality, not stuff like this. So today we plan on returning these to our local HD and we'll see if their customer service team takes care of this for us. I guess I would say - don't buy these chairs unless you have to go to your local store anyway as you're likely to find they are not at all the same quality as the rest of that series of outdoor furniture.

Nice chair but 2 out of 3 had no hardware
3 Star Review   By LILadies on Home Depot - Jun 27, 2012

This is a good-looking and comfortable chair. The problem is that 2 of the 3 chairs we received came without hardware. No hardware, no chair. It was truly a hassle to try to get the appropriate hardware that was supposed to come with the chair, and, after three weeks of trying, we ended up having to buy alternative hardware that did not look exactly right but worked. Compared to most outdoor furniture, though, this chair is very well priced--it's classy and lovely--a terrific chair, once you can get it put together. But beware.

As cheap as they come (quality wise)
1 Star Review   By Naty on Home Depot - Jun 26, 2012

I was so excited to receive my new patio lounge chairs yesterday. I was so disappointed to find that the quality of these chairs are horrible. The screws don't align with the 2 frames you need to assemble together. One of the frames was bent so attaching it to another frame was impossible. I ordered 2 chairs and the 2nd one was worse than the 1st one. I immediately returned them at my local Home Depot. If you're going to put a name like "Martha Stewart" on a product and charge almost $150 each, then you need to put a decent amount of quality into the product. One of our employees used to be a welder and when he helped me assemble them yesterday, he was shocked to see what poor craftsmanship.

Don't waste your money
2 Star Review   By Awnicol25 on Home Depot - Jun 23, 2012

If you can force the cheap screw hardware together the chairs look nice and should last a season or so. Spend the extra money and ge some real chairs.

Good looking, sturdy, inexpensive, w/o cushions to schlep indoors!
5 Star Review   By DiscerningConsumer on Home Depot - Jun 19, 2012

As others have noted, the welds on the frame are imprecise, and that results in the nuts imbedded in the frame not lining up precisely with the holes in the arm supports. After struggling an hour or so to assemble the first one, I finally figured out the problem with attaching the arms to the body frame: there is a required order of bolt insertion: you must start with the bolt that's on the farthest rear edge of the frame. Snug it, then insert the other three bolts on either side. The second one took 20 minutes. P.S. the sticker says weight maximum: 250 lbs. I believe it. When my 300+ friend sat on it, the fabric strained. Gonna have to get him his own chair. Ugh.

1 for 4 - Returned to Store
1 Star Review   By TVPA on Home Depot - Apr 24, 2012

First and foremost, huge HD fan and shop often, just not happy with this purchase. Not bitter, just would not recommend these chairs. Ordered four of these and shipping was quick and easy. Boxes arrived via UPS and started assembly. All the components were in each of the boxes but the packing was awful. Flimsy cardboard and 1/8" underlayment pieces were used in the corners. 3 out of the 4 chairs were damaged -- bad welds and bent corners where the arms screw into the base. No way to bend into the proper place because the welds would rip or break. On 2 of the chairs, the plastic (yes plastic) piece where the arm for the lounge position rests was broken off. Originally purchased because of all the great reviews for these and the Solana Bay set online so I have to step forward and disagree with those. Very disappointed with this set and returned the entire thing back to the store (4 chaise lounges, 7-piece set, umbrella, umbrella stand and side tables). Would not recommend this set to anyone. Still a Home Depot shopper, just not for this set.

Looks high-end by our new pool
5 Star Review   By Daklintampa on Home Depot - Apr 17, 2012

I bought these since I knew I'd be purchasing the matching dining table and chairs. I love the sling style of the chairs which makes them more weather (and sweat) resistant than ones with cushions. They are also very comfortable for napping. Can't beat their affordability.

5 Star Review   By Cathy on Home Depot - Apr 10, 2012

I could not be happier with these chairs! They're well built, easy to assemble and the frame around the back makes them look much more expensive than they are. They're a great addition to my patio!
