Ooma telo
2 Star Review   By jtvarro on Adorama - Sep 25, 2013

I have a several reasons to be less than fully pleased with this product: First, there is nothing in the on-line advertsing that indicates a need to activate the product a week to ten days in advance of terminating your old landline phone service. Second, there is no notice that new phone numbers are only available in approximately 6-8 of the larger cities in Illinois (necessitating that I choose another Illinois prefix which will br considered long distance even from local calls within my area. Finally, another major concern is that there is no mention in the advertising that Ooma will ONLY accept Visa, Mastercard or American Express to accept payment for monthly taxes and fees surcharges. I fully expected that I would be able to use my Discovercard. This necessitated that I open a new credit card account just to make my Ooma payments - MAJOR BUMMER!
