Excellent computing device overall.
5 Star Review   By NoApplePie on Adorama - Nov 4, 2013

It would be much nicer with Adobe Flash player support and full 1080 screen. It would better justify the premium price.

5 Star Review   By Sweetshunshine on Adorama - Oct 26, 2013

I bought this Samsung Note 8 yesterday and am truly amazed. I sold my Ipad mini because it was just too hard on my eyes and didn't like the new IOS. Samsung you did great with this Note 8. I love how you can change the color saturation and make it easier for reading. Awesome Gadget !!!

Transitioned from a handwritten journal to the Note 8.0.....
4 Star Review   By Anonymous on Adorama - Aug 29, 2013

I made the transition from a handwritten journal over to the note. So far it is working well. The technology within S Note is strong and with my poor handwriting, it needs to be ;-). There is one missing element that I am trying to nail down. How to handle task management from within S Note. When I am taking notes, usually there are items that require follow up. In the past I have transitioned those items into tasks. It makes no sense to jump out of S Note and put the follow up in another app. I have not figured out how to handle this with the Note 8.0. I am open to suggestions....

Does not live up to samsung name
1 Star Review   By Cre8tiveRN on Adorama - Aug 19, 2013

My reason for purchasing the Galaxy 8 Note was for school use-grad program. The sales person assured me that adobe flash player could be used with this product. Well one day after purchase and several google searches I find that adobe flash is no longer available on Samsung Galaxy. I will be returning this first thing tomorrow for a note or tablet that I can use.

AMAZING!
5 Star Review   By tabletlover88 on Adorama - Aug 14, 2013

I was debating between this tablet and the 10.1 but I am so glad I got this one! I love that it has all the same features as the 10.1 but since it is a bit smaller its so much easier to use and you are able to hold it with just one hand! I do have an iPad but I love how on this tablet you are able to have two screens open up at the same time and the fact there is microsoft word already on it! Hands down amazing tablet.

Not 16gb, SD limited, OS Cumbersome, Expensive
1 Star Review   By Estrellazero on Adorama - Aug 8, 2013

* Less than 10GB are available on a 16GB model * All content such as books and music has to be manually transferred from device to SD card, time consuming and tedious. There is no settings to default to the SD card. I have not found any apps to do this either. * Apps may not run on SD without modifying OS and voiding warranty. Currently there are no apps that support the Galaxy Note 8 * The pen is clunky and takes time get used to. Not a practical solution for note to text * Epub readers are plentiful, but even highlighting text can be a chore. The pen can't be used to highlight by draing over the publication. * Pen can't be used to write a note and convert it to text emails. The message can only be displayed as a picture.

Compact and Powerful
4 Star Review   By whodini on Adorama - Jul 26, 2013

Very impressed. This little tablet has a lot to offer and its only the beginning of my journey as I tap into its potential. The stylus included is very intuitive and responsive to the writings on the Note. Right off the bat, the built in remote control that controls my T.V. knocked my socks off right away. And I have OTA rabbit ears. So to work on just the TV and give me info about current shows and upcoming shows, get a major thumbs up from me right now. More reviews are to come about this Note as I learn how to work it and play with it.
