Very dependable - Great Projector
Strengths: Accurate color rendition and contrast, bright, long lasting bulb.
I have had two of these projectors for show we do on location. They have taken a lot of abuse, extreme temperature changes and conditions over the past 4 years of use. The bulbs have held up amazingly and I am very happy with these projectors. Even when we are doing shows at venues that have very expensive projectors I still use my InFocus IN24 because it is better color and contrast and easy to...

The bulbs have held up amazingly and I am very happy with these projectors. Even when we are doing shows at venues that have very expensive projectors I still use my InFocus IN24 because it is better color and contrast and easy to adjust than any other projector that these venues have that are more designed for high contrast presentations rather than images and photos.

Lamp crashes too fast !!!!!!
Strengths: Sharp image, easy to use.
Weakness: Lamp always crashes after 500 hs of use. I´ve bought 4 already.
I´ve bought the Infocus X2 projector, not this one, I just say that you must take care of Infocus projectors. This is my experience, watch out !!!!
My lamps crashes after 500 hs. of use instead of 2000/3000 Infocus says. I´ve bought 4 lamps and all of them crashes after 500 hs. I do everything right with it, I clean the filters, use stabilized voltage, etc. But lamp doesn´t last. It´s a crap.

Strengths: Price, picture quality is good
Weakness: More noise than I expected.
This projector so far has a great picture and was a great price. I do not think you will find an overall better projector for the price after rebates. The projector does run quiter in economy mode and still has a great picutre in my opinion.

good entry level projector
Strengths: price (~$500 after rebate), easy setup, very good image quality, bright
Weakness: resolution just 800*600, not very quiet in normal mode, no component or DVI input
This is a very good entry level projector, and can be used for both home and business. Setup is extremely straightforward, almost plug and play for my notebook computer and DVD player. The image quality is even better than I expected for such a cheap unit (about $500 after rebate), looks very nice for movie, as well as viewing pictures from computer. You can hear a little noice in normal mode,...

You can hear a little noice in normal mode, but it's not that bad -- if you switch to low power mode, it's completely quiet. I'd like to see it accept more inputs -- now it only accept VESA monitor (analog), composite video and S-video; no component, no digital input. 800*600 might be a bit low if you are used to HDTV signal. But it's not a big deal for me. All in all, it's a good value for your money.
